Mr.white vs budders….grow off!!!

The yellow tips.

Nice. Organic growing is interesting. I think I might get into it with a regular garden just because it looks fun.
It shouldn't be light burn. The lights aren't very close and they're only at 90 watts a piece. Probably around 35000, 40000 max LUX right now.

I think that's a little nute burn from giving it too much of something. Or maybe slight lockout from too much of a certain nutrient locking out another.

I've never had my soil checked. I just give it whatever I think it's gonna like. But I'm experimenting with all kinds of stuff. I have since I started. It's definitely more complicated this way, but I'm learning a lot.

I meant nutrient burn, as in they are going to turn brown soon. It's typically the first sign of nitrogen toxicity. They may just power through it though. I have no idea, I've never grown in soil. I would see it as a helpful indicator to reduce my EC. I don't know how you all go about doing that.

We just top dress less and use plain water.

My guess is that you're right and it's a little nute burn from ammonia being available to fast. I added some MBP to the nute mix this time, and I never do that. I'm thinking it just worked a little too good making the nutes available to fast if that makes sense.

What is MBP?

What is MBP?
Malted barley powder. I still have it from brewing beer, so I said why not and added some to a mix. I added Kashi too, but I add that all the time.

I really need to take better notes, because I don't fully remember everything I added, but the MBP is the only thing I added extra last time.

It was:

Neem meal
Gro Kashi
7-3-1 Bat guano
Basalt (which is another new one for me, but that shouldn't cause that)

I'm sure I added a little Langbeinite too, but it shouldn't be enough to do that.

But the mix should only be like 4-1.75-1.5. I did add 1 1/3 cups, but that's to a 15 gal pot.

Someday I should get it checked. But the only problem is all my pots are gonna have different readings. Still would be good though, so I'd at least have an idea.

This lead me down a rabbithole of learning about milk basic protein. I've always drank a ton of milk. My bones probably rule.

was thinking rooted clone and flip in 1 gal dtw every 2 weeks throw a few rows in flowering tent….2.5x2.5 for clones rooting…5x5 for flowering and 4x8 for transitional
It occurred to me that since I'll be giving the same nutrient solution to all of my plants and I'll flip them as soon as I throw them into the flowering tent, I could use each 4x4 plot independently. I have 5 "squares." I could setup a perpetual vegging system to produce 5 separate harvests, but that would be a pain. I decided to stagger two harvests instead. A smaller harvest about every 1.5 months sounds easy and consistent enough to handle my needs. Plus if I run out I'll only have to wait a couple of weeks at most. The only downside is I may have to save up hash material to make a run because I usually do a half P at a time.
