Ya I put 120 grams of nug and 40 grams of trim in 3 cups of oil so it’s pretty strong oil....I want to make some chocolate tho do you use coconut oil for that?
I used high-grade e.v. olive oil. I infuse it with decarbed keif, and it's about 50mg THC per ml so I don't need to add much by volume. I'm sure coconut oil would be better for the chocolate, but I use it on lots of stuff.

How many mg?

You could estimate your THC potency and extrapolate...

Example:
Estimated 23% herb
Used 160g
Used 3 cups oil (coconut, olive ect)

160g × 0.23
=
36.8g

36,800mg of cannibinoids total in 3 cups of oil

If you used all the oil for 1 batch of gummies and made 115 gummies then...

36,800mg ÷ 115 gummies
=
320mg per gummie

(Potency %) × (grams of herb used) × (1000) ÷ (# of gummies or brownies cookies ect)
=
mg per serving

If you only used a portion of an oil you made previously, then it's..

(Potency %) × (grams of herb used) × (1000) ÷ (total cups of oil used for initial infusion) × (the # of cups of infused oil being used in the current recipe) ÷ (# of gummies or brownies cookies ect)
=
mg per serving

You can just use a calculator and make one long statement...

You went from milligrams to multiplying it by three cups, then by the same three cups again.

1 cup = 240ml, 3 cups would be 720ml

36,800Mg THC into 720ml liquid means there are 51.111 mg of THC in every milliliter.

A teaspoon is 5ml so a 5ml/tsp dose would have about 250mg.

Milligrams is the same as Milliliters in weight - weigh the gummy :)
