I guess you did blame people, or I don't understand your meaning of lemmings
Nope.

Lemmings - mask wearers for no reason - and to appease them by wearing one obviously doesn't translate to blame for anythjing.

Wear your mask if it makes you feel cozy. I don't own one - and won't wear one to "protect me from a virus" - which is the part you don't get.

The gubmints job is to inform you about things like these, and provide possible solutions or options. The mandating of wearing a mask because they said so - when there is no medical evidence it works - is tyranny - and he is leaving the tyranny to the blue-state and blue-city leaders who have a proclivity for that. Also shows that it doesn't fucking work.

I thought they were only gonna ask us to wear them for 14 days. Hmmm. Maybe they need a new calendar.

I don't wear one. My excellent health keeps me from wearing one.

Already tested positive. Im good.
Nah, back in the first few weeks when it might have made a little bit of sense as a stop-gap measure., they were telling the truth about how they are mainly useful for doctors who are in contact with sick people all day.

I don't really understand where you get all your information: I was under the impression that a mask would protect a doctor from contaminating the people receiving treatment like during operation? Right? So why would it not be able to protect the others from you if you are sick and not aware?
Yes I agree it is not full proof, but if it decrease the chances of contaminating somebody more vulnerable than you isn't it a better solution than wearing nothing?
Do you understand the concept of protecting the others?

A mask is a spit catcher for if you are coughing and sneezing, preventing those high velocity droplets from escaping. The virus if airborne has nothing to do with the droplets any more. And if you are just regularly breathing you will still inhale and exhale any virus. It is smaller than the holes in the damn mask.

Doctors are around people that may be coughing and sneezing - SICK PEOPLE. Healthy people you meet in the store are not a threat, and if they were the mask wouldn't do a damn thing.

And if you're sick you should stay the fuck home and not need a mask either.

Think bubble-hash. The virus is the stuff that makes it through the last bag. Assorted masks that are not rated to stop a virus are the various size bubble-bags. Some stop more than others, but none of them stop the virus.

You could wear an MSA full-face mask with the carbon filters, dust pre-filters, just like going into a coal mine, and it is not rated to stop a virus. But don't worry, your dustmask will work fine.

I read this :
https://www.who.int/news-room/commentaries/detail/transmission-of-sars-cov-2-implications-for-infection-prevention-precautions
and from that I understood that droplets , what you call spit is a way of contamination. So if a mask can stop your spit it will also stop part of those droplets and therefore decrease the contamination risk.
As I said it is not full proof but if you can decrease the risk by 50 percent isn't it a good idea?
I would appreciate if you could share any papers you have showing a mask will not help to decrease the contamination risk.

Every single bubble bag catches something, It might not catch it all but it does catch something. You can look at the different bubble bags as different qualities of masks. The more it catches the better your chances. Masks aren't perfect and no one ever said they were perfect.

And how do you know if you have been contaminated? You have a test after your breakfast every morning?
It has not been proven to be transmitted by casual contact. If you ain't sick and I ain't sick it really doesn't matter. The "tested positive" people are generally symptom free and will remain that way, and so will anyone they come in contact with - it is called herd immunity. If you are elderly, or have a breathing disorder, you know your risks - I know mine - Not wearing a fucking worthless mask.

You guys are missing the fact that the only way to contract this virus is by inhaling it into your lungs. This is why they are now back pedaling and are now admitting that using clorox wipes does nothing to prevent the spread of the virus.

An N95 mask is great if you are operating a belt sander, or mowing a dusty yard, etc. Those particles are big and get stuck in the mask. Viruses are microscopic. Like reeeeeeeealy tiny. Mask does not stop the little buggers. Wear one if it makes you safe and happy - and stay the FUCK out of my life.

Aside from military and college, I was also a nationally registered EMT. I'm not a dumb guy, and I'm not a doctor. But one of the things you learn in depth as an EMT is BSI - body substance isolation - protecting you from them. You learn what works and what does not.

They wear full body suits with positive air pressure, and full face-masks in virology labs. Even if you were to prick a glove with a needle, the air in the suit would "maybe" keep the virus from getting in - maybe not.
