Is 425w of Vero29 LED enough for 4x4

Yeah I heard a podcast with Dr. Allison Justice and she was explaining the bottom leaves recording at 200 par were just acting as sprinklers respiring water back into the air, I just cut up the bottom 1/3s of my plants ever time now. I’m adding 2 more cobs in the corners of my 5x5 they’re on the...

Is 425w of Vero29 LED enough for 4x4

The only issue I can think of is coverage. I wanted to just buy one of Timber’s set ups, and their 425w is rated at 3.5 x 3.5 ft coverage area. The total wattage is 425w and its PAR wattage is 200 PAR watts, and is dimmable. If I were to go with their smaller 320w set up, the coverage would only...

Is 425w of Vero29 LED enough for 4x4

Looking to get a veg tent going. Thinking a 4x4 would be good for 4-5 plants. Got up to 900w of led in my 5x5 flower tent now. I’m leaning towards no, not enough, but I’m wondering if 425w of Vero 29’s are going to be enough to support the 4x4 for 40 days (+\-) in veg.

    DetroitToPortland’s constant Organic Grows

Day 43. Growth appears to have slowed a little bit but the side branches have been taking over, I selectively slowed the tallest branches with super cropping. Some I slowed... a lot, and snapped them. But the plant has recovered and I’m going to allow it to chill for a few days and start...

    #Heisenbeans Genetics

Gonna do some reading into these strains! Love all the gorilla glue crosses, really wanting to get my hands on some seeds for the next grow I start in August. Which strain do you feel is the heaviest yielder on your site? Which do you feel is the most potent THC wise, and have any been lab...

State of LEDs, OSRAM, SAMSUNG, CREE, PHILIPS, ETC

Just found another FULL TEXT article. Go and read the piss out of this one, it compares HPS with two different LED’s. So far I’ve read LED Produced more THC and CBD concentrations, but the dry weight of product in HPS is greater. All lights were at 450 umol/s so far and LED’s can deliver higher...

Found a good article comparing blue, red, green, daylight and darkness with THC production. https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C10&q=cannabis+thc+synthesis+factor&btnG=#d=gs_qabs&u=%23p%3D84xVfnxGFgsJ Blue and red win according the this finding, but that’s the great thing about...

Snapped a stem, chances of survival?

Yeah it’s been over 24 hours for this guy and it’s not looking good, I almost completely snapped it off on accident. Didn’t pinch it enough. I used the aluminum tape because it’s sturdy and very sticky. I won’t be super cropping again until my tool comes in.

    SoLow's never ending thread

Indoor is all about the training. Always looking for ways to do it better. This next run I think I’m gonna do extra small tomato cages to start with pipe cleaners to hook cages to stems. I think I’m gonna put the SCROG net in first and the tomato cage within the net, on amazon you can buy small...

How do you Germinate your seeds?

Small water bottle with label, inch of water, drop of h2o2, 12-18 hour soak. Small 1L airpot, clingfilm the top and twist it in 2 places to tighten it around pot. Then use a toothpick or two to secure the clingfilm through top airpot holes. Place under timber redwood COB, about 24 inches away...

Snapped a stem, chances of survival?

I know these kinda depend on how much stem tissue is still holding on, but It’s been about 2 days and I don’t know what to think on this one. Snapped the same branch in two different places o_O Looking closely, her large fan leaf is still quite turgid but the smaller leaves have gone limp...

OLD ST1R’s Sweet ‘N Sour Grow

Plants look awesome! Sorry about the Hermy, it happens. Also, kinda late now, but next grow I would remove any of the large fan leaves at the bottom of the plant, or any leaves you feel don’t receive much light. These leaves just transpire a ton of water and raise humidity, and don’t really do...

    DetroitToPortland’s constant Organic Grows

Lot of growth in 3 days. Plants love the defoliation. This time I had a huge pile of leaves. Here’s a before and after the defoliation, super cropping and scrogging. Here are some close ups of the training Yes I managed to snap the same branch twice, hence the aluminum tape. Here’s one...

Dude thank you for posting the actual graphs! I haven’t had a chance to read through Allison’s methods and data analysis in the articles yet with my studying. I will most certainly do that now :)
