    DetroitToPortland’s constant Organic Grows

Drunk watering and training the gals tonight. Too many IPA’s by the beach. Totally just dumped water in, it’s all over the place, don’t even care right now, hopefully not screwing anything up (y) Removed a ton of leaves, fingers crossed for flower coming up. Flipping slowly.

Where to get tent “roof” poles? Or suggestions?

Found “grow poles” on eBay. Pricey but are made of steel or something, soo that’s much needed support in my tent. Getting it.

Where to get tent “roof” poles? Or suggestions?

Looking for a solution in my tent to hang two little LED’s in the corners. I no longer have extra tent ‘roof’ frame pieces. Wondering how I should go about getting some extra small metal frame pieces with u-shaped ends for the roof. Or I was thinking I could use a chain? Some wire or a pvc pipe...

    DetroitToPortland’s constant Organic Grows

Quick tent update. Slowly turning girls to flower, at 15-9 now for light-dark. No stretch yet :ROFLMAO:today is the first day of slow light change. Got the next SCROG ready for the extra red light LED coming in Friday. Overall not impressed with my bushy gals at this stage, most of that’s on me...

The learning center and miscellaneous SH#$

A lot of node spacing has to do with the presence of red light, plant thinks it’s in the shade apparently and stretches more in red waves

I would need at least 2-4 per 10 gallon pot but I like the idea to possibly make something similar with the gravity feed in mind

    The Upward Spyral

First let me say great grow and awesome set up detail. Hydro is def the fast pass to growing. I’d remove a few fan leaves you feel are blocking bud sites, just my two cents, the bud sites get taller and growth concentrates to those newer fan leaves to fill the space.

Got one in the middle being fried and it’s time to raise the light, and of course a ratchet hanger breaks on me. Rigged it up in a knot to hold steady but not gonna mess with it until I can get a new one tomorrow.

Boveda packs affect taste or aroma? Life Span?

Yeah I did a little searching, can easily be rehydrated. Thanks for the responses on flavor, I was going to add them after a week of curing. Sounds like they’re not going to be worth it in my opinion. Heads up you can add a fan leaf in your jar if you’re too dry, should help get moisture in the...

Boveda packs affect taste or aroma? Life Span?

Hey all, was listening to a podcast on KIS and one of the guests said he found boveda packs to add a strange smell and flavor. Having never used them, I have to ask do you agree? I am hesitant to belive him, but I’d like to hear what you boveda users think. Does it negatively affect...

Snapped a stem, chances of survival?

It had been like 4 days and it’s come back. Didn’t look good for the first 2 days. I’ll post an update when I get back Tuesday night.

Snapped a stem, chances of survival?

I’m thinking of using small customizable tomato cages. Then you could attach bendy pipe cleaners at will to hold down branches. Might eliminate super cropping altogether for the first half of the grow.

    Monster Cropping

I think the most important thing I’ve learned to avoid an overly bushy plant is to train early and often. If you can get the side branches going wide to start, you will not have leaf clutter blocking bud sites later on. I 100% agree with SCROG and defoliating the bottom 1/3 of plants as well.

Is 425w of Vero29 LED enough for 4x4

COBs are known for penetrating the canopy better for sure. I’m pretty confident I can run vero’s 900w dimmed down around 50-70% and get really amazing flower results. I scrogged and lollipop too, it just makes sense to take advantage of the light spread. Yeah they say it really depends on the...
