I never ph my water. My water is very hard at 400 - 500 ppms. The type that gets all of the faucets crusty with calcium. CLR works to cleaning them up. I cut the tap with ro to get it down to 200 ppms. The tap ph is usually close to 8.0 and the ro/tap mix ph tends to be the same. I use the tap...

    2021 Veggie Gardens

The Rutgers should be good for sauce. They have a thick skin. 1st time I'm growing them, they are Jersey tomatoes and might not like the desert heat and sun. Gonna try and keep them healthy and will shade them for part of the day when the temps cross 105. Two years ago I had celebrity tomato...

I chopped # 8 that hermied and the leaves when dry will go into the worm bin. Took a pic of the roots. Did some lollipopping today, more food for the worms. I leave the fan leaves in place. I like following the lowest fan leaves for info on when to feed. Speaking of fan leaves #6 the beast...

41" and still growing 2 " a day. I can only raise my lights another 6". I'd be more than happy to watch over your plants. Don't forget to raise the lights. :)

That could be one of your issues. PH pens need to be stored in a storage solution or the probe can go bad. They sell two calibration solutions, 4.0 and 7.0. Mine requires both, yours may only need the 7.0. They should be tested at least once a month. I always suggest getting the inexpensive ph...

Now this is a nice infirmary. Elsewhere you might get a bunch of bad guesses and have a few others trashing the plant. Both suggestions above are good if you can give more info. Are you storing your PH pen properly in a storage solution and calibrating it with a calibration solution?

I have grown a lot of un topped plants over the years and have never had aggressive side branching like this. I don't know how they will develop but more than one have side branches that caught up to the cola. One has 6 or more side branches that are only a couple of inches below the cola...

Lights out and I took some pics of the fam, plants on the left in the 2nd pic with small leaves are unrelated clones. Definitely anybodies game. I have a small plant in the shape of a xmas tree that might develop my best bud, you never know. If I didn't get seed #7 I'd be losing the height wars...

I don't feel like I got good results yet after using it on 3 occasions. I went back and re read the instructions and the troubleshooting guide. I feel a mistake I'm making when testing is not getting the soil hydrated enough 1st with ro water. I'm watering to runoff today to get it good and...

I'm not sure what range is good for me yet. I bought a Blue Lab soil PH pen for this grow. I'm still getting familiar with the pen after using it twice. Prior to the pen I used the slurry test and drops to check soil PH. With a low PH I would get what appeared to be a calcium deficiency in the...

Until this grow I was re amending the same soil for over 6 years. I lost confidence in the soil and chose FFOF for this grow. I ran into issues others have spoke of when running a soil that long, it became very heavy. I tried increasing the peat but decided to throw it all in the lawn. I had a...

I have some bad news about #8. Such a pretty girl. I suggest everyone in flower check their plants. I'll check the other 7 tomorrow. I think I'm going to chop all of her side branches and remove any balls from the trunk and grow her as a single cola for kicks. Hate to cull an otherwise healthy...

    Help

Is the weird shape of the leaf the concern? Sometimes that happens after topping so if you topped the plant that might be the issue. If it is from that they usually go back to normal growth in time.

[ #6 seems to be happy this morning. Might be the seaweed extract foliar she got yesterday might not IDK. The rest are going to get the same foliar. She takes up to much space, might put her in a 3x3 tent to free up some room. Happy Growing!

When do you think the leaves will start to change color and do you think that will help decide who has it? Early on I thought you had the mac, Now IDK who does.
