I took 6 pictures of the cola of plant #2 using a variety of lighting. All taken from a similar angle. No flash was used. Cloudy outside pic. Incandescent. LED Light from a Ceiling Fan. MH not diffused. MH diffused by blocking the direct light. Fluorescent.

I'll be taking some bud shots of this plant in the next couple of days for the pic thread.

If I had to deal with russet mites I'd read up on what Dr. Who has posted on the subject. A search with his name and the key word forbid or other key words on riu might be helpful, sounds like H is taking a similar approach.

I'm seeing some crystal beginning to amber on one of the early finishers. Maybe one more week till harvest. The pics are from a lower bud removed from the plant. Does anyone have a preference for the amount of amber when deciding to harvest? Happy Growing!

Did the original rule change for # of plants you and the other person pick from 3 each to 2 each? The 4 best plants belong to @LubdaNugs so we can just call it a day lol.

Took some pics of #5 with a flash. This small plant looks like it's going to finish green/black not having the fall colors. Not bad for an old inexpensive Kodak Easy Share camera. I think it's time for an upgrade though lol. Happy Growing!

I removed some lower hanging buds from plants # 1, 2, 4 and 5. These plants are finishing faster than the 3 larger plants. This gave me the opportunity to take some bud pictures outside. Look forward to testing the smoke. #1 #2 #4 #5

Growing strains that fade is new to me. Is the fade in the hands of the grower or is it the genetics that have some plants like @J.James plant #4 so dark already compared to mine? One of mine is just starting to darken.

What is more important in a bud picture. Fat calyxes or frosty leaves? My preference is fat calyxes. What are your preferences @Heisenbeans? If we grow 7 plants can we show 7 bud pics for the finally or do we have to choose our favorite bud pic?
