So I hook up a wye connection at the bulkhead and a ball valve. So when I wanna drain it I turn the valve to the other side and use the same sump/fountain pump to drain

For 170 bucks u can get 280 watts of samsung lm561's or lm301b diodes. ( 4 qb 120's & 1 lrs-350-24 driver
Or a similar option that cost almost same as first option.
4 qb 132's at max = 300 watts
& 1 lrs-350-36 driver.
With the thickest boards hlg produces being qb120's& qb132's, they can handle being ran at max all day every day. That why they dont need heatsinks, is cause they r thick.
Another reason i like those 2 styles of boards is the variety of cheap quality drivers u can use on them.. If ones mind is set on using hlg a/b drivers and want to get every watt u can out of lights, ud havta pay 80-90 bucks a driver buy getting a hlg-320-36 or hlg-320-2800.
Or u can get a lrs-350-24 driver for 30 bucks.
Or a lrs-350-36 driver for 40. Both can do everything the hlg models do except hlg drivers are 94% efficient and lrs is 90%. Lrs has built in fan and it barely is warm to touch at almost wide open. As long as u got ventilation system ur room temp wont be affected very much. The heat isnt trapped around driver cause of fan built in unlike hlg models.
On another forum im currently walkn a long time mh/ hps grower threw the transition of giving up on his out dated lights that waste electricity, cause heat issues, constantly buying bulbs, cause all tho the 1k hps puts out alot of light, the plant only uses bout half of light produced cause of spectrum. hes gonna do 12 qb120's at max in a 4x5. Ive helped out many online recently.
Just things ive learned since trying led's myself. And all of this is just my 2 cents worth or opinions.

x Chernobyl. All 3 ladies, and had 3 different phenos. But every plant displayed 70% percent of fan leafs a small little nug and all 3 had purple stems, not from deficiency either.
. One smelt of exactly like grape Skittles, other was lemony grape. U might think of well it was only 3 plants, but those 3plants wood of gave at least 2lb's. But il never quit growing no matter what they say.

Hang a cheap multi meter on wall next to ur drivers.i used alligator clips to hold positive lead ( red wire) from multi meter to positive terminal on driver. Then black wire from multi meter clipd to neg terminal on driver. Turn multi meter to volts, then adjust dimmer screw to no higher than 36 volts by lookn at multimeter when u turn light up or down. QB132'S are 36 volts max outputthat will vive u 75watts per board or around 600 watts for 8 132s.

Never seen anything like those in my 21yrs of growing. Plus along with buds on leafs,
They also had these things i havnt seen
1. Buds on leaves
2. Fat indica fingers but had multiple rows of fingers up to 18 fingers per leaf.
3. In mid veg they started to add crystals allready on leafs b4 flower
4.it had double and triple serrated edges on big fans
I took clones had them ready cause by all the weird but good characteristics i seen i thought 2 of 3 special.
Grew them perfectly under my 8 132's,
And on the day i had planned to harvest, I LOST everything. My lights, my plants, my clones, everything......
With 5 to go b4 its legal recreational in my state the fuck faces busted door in took everything, i got no tickets but lost everything.. They destroyed my home, took it all, gave me no tickets cause it was misdemeanor of under 5 plants.. Just a smash n grab, causing big scene for neighbors, and land lord. Now landlord evicts me cause of the plants. Plus on front page of small town newspaper each plant was displayed with cops with grins on faces..
But the reason they came to house was the cops was lookn for a missing runaway kid my son knows from school. He just said he smelt weed then left. hour later they kick door in.. They got so lucky cause i was gonna harvest that night.. So ya i got fuckd without ky and got plenty of killer pics from them plants but didnt get to taste any of em....
But has anyone else ever had buds on fan leafs? 18 fingers a leaf on sum fans? Crystals on leaves in veg?
