Side note - Not much difference between building a 4-top manifold and just topping and leaving 4 good shoots. Except that it saves a week not to have to let the manifold grow out for the second topping.

I have a lid for the sifter, those scissors are on the edge to keep it from touching the buds and allow a little airflow.

Here's what I figured out for a rough schedule - 6 weeks between drops. Weeks are down the side.


After day 7 - fuck it, they'll screw up the rotation - no lollygaggers.

Some time end of week two or start of week three they should be ready to leave the solo cup, no hurry now that I know I can finish a plant in one LOL

After they get situated in the new pots I'll start looking for when to top. Then a little time after topping to get situated before I flip them. As soon as they show sex I can start planning what to drop next/again, or if I'll even have room.

I am going to keep track of how all the plants fall in the schedule. When each is ready to top/flip, especially. I am thinking that I can shave a week or so off of that. I guess the driving factor is that I really only want a few ounces of each - and if I tune down my grow I'll probably end up with that or better, and a lot less issues.

Checking the trichomes on the last Paradise Diesel - I don;t know why LOL Amber is plentiful all over the leaves. She just doesn't look done. Day 78 of flower... 11 weeks, one day...

Getting reddish purple on the leaf rails, other than that no real fade.

This is the early pheno, BB#4 influence we believe. Beautiful buds, but they are on the fluffy side. This could also be the XB200 "full spectrum" influence as well. Definitely not as intense as the HLG QB's.
Good bag appeal with sharp contrast between the orange and green.

For comparison purposes, here's the smallest of the 4 tops of the EVIL weed (I swear I didn't plan that)

And a top from the 4th Gear that is little smaller but rocking the density scale.

From the looks of it, the sister of the PD that is going to be a 12-week flower will be somewhere in between.

My answer to canna-caps.

5g of decarbed keif

I divide it into 0.2g portions which is +/- 100mg THC each. I either cut it in half or in quarters for dosing.

The punch press is from Interplanetary Development and it has a smaller diameter than most puck presses. I tried doing .1g pucks to make dosing easier, but they were too thin.

I am thinking that Decarbing may be better for long-term storage. A complete guess, but since the nova does it at low temps I look at it like curing it. But basically it's just weighed out portions that I could still use for whatever. If I needed to make budder the math is already done.

Todays smoke is some Crown Jewel that @J.James F2'd. This is the loudest of the two phenos. The other stayed green and has a kush ring to it. this had nice fall colors, and the green is really dark. The frost gives it a black & white look in the tin. This is the stuff that smells like burnt gunpowder. Should be good for a day of football.

Had to add this. I put 6 little nuglets through the grinder. Maybe 2g. When I just upended the grinder to let stuff fall out, this is what stayed. This is frosty stuff.

I had all these grand plans about strain-testing/smoke reports, but it required setting aside a day to just get effed up. I don't do much, but I do it regularly

Sooooooo as I sit here looking at an assortment of quart jars wondering what to smoke next, I decided it would just be easier to go 'old school'. Like back in the day when I had to smoke whatever "the dude" showed up with, or if I was lucky had two unknown strains to choose from (I always snagged both, and he knew it LOL).

I think that using it constantly like I do, just having a half a bag or so of one strain out at a time will give me a better impression of it effects-wise. Cheers!

Just because of what is new/cured I am going to start with this beautiful Granddaddy Purple.

I have a half ounce that wouldn't fit in the quart jar, and I grew this one way better than my first attempt at the strain. When you open the tin it smells like grape drink mix. like Kool-Aid or Gatorade but the sweetened kind. not just the powder you have to add sugar too

I could post more pics, but they look just like yesterdays... The BW slowed down, maybe both pissed that I stopped feeding them. I'm waiting to drop seeds until I know I can get both rooms cleaned out before putting new gnat-free soil in the room.

Stoner smoke report - Danish fems - GDP from ILGM.

This is my smoke until the half bag runs out. Good 'doing stuff' weed. Very tasty, great bag appeal, smells like grape drink mix in the tin, but tastes like regular smoke. No terps pulling through.

I'm H.a.F. but it's nothing special or memorable. I wouldn't chase the dealer down asking for my money back, but I would take it over an unknown that didn't look better.

Smooth, tasty, no cough, and you could smoke one right after the other. It packs a punch, but it doesn't seem to last long, so that's a good thing. Haven't tried the edible version yet, but I have nothing to do tomorrow and some decarbed - game on.
