at the time i could not log in to say anything .
If you have problems logging in then the easiest way to get a hold of me or H would be to sign up for his Discord server here https://discord.gg/WKpEw56jpp and either post in the "help-me" section or send us a private message. Even if you don't want to use Discord, it's worth signing up to it just so you have a way to reach him if you can't get into the forum.

So the roots looked okay but since I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it I just tossed it. I saw no upside to keeping it and on the off chance it had some kind of virus or whatnot I didn't want to infect anything else.
Good idea to toss it. If it was genetic, it looked like it wasn't going to improve. The reason I think it's genetic is because it was that way from the beginning and nothing else is affected. I've had plants like that that did not grow out of it.

I've read that plants infected with HLVd can pass it on through their seeds.

So here's the first batch of contenders, keep in mind that they are not sexed. That's a big reason for the air layering. The rest of the reason is that once I know who the girls are, I can propagate their cuttings. Ultimately, I'll choose the best female of each strain.

I'm not going to throw anyone into the big veg room unless I know they're females because I'm not going to waste the Watts.

Finally on a roll....
I'm still experimenting so I used some spare coco mix and earthworm castings.

I scraped the stems slightly and applied rooting hormone.

It's been a couple of weeks and I haven't seen much yet.
Ya that's pretty much the same treatment I applied and religiously injected water into the zone so they wouldn't dry out and would lose patience at 2 weeks knowing I can get 99.9% strike rate in 7 to 9 days in the cloner. The videos make it look so easy.. Think the scrape has to be a little more aggresive maybe!!!!

I've found that it's easy for them to get TOO wet so I only water them 1x per week.

I've been having trouble with cuttings but I've recently gotten my cloning environment more under control so I will try that again as well.
