If I don't buy any more beans I only have a few drops left of stuff I haven't grown before. Maybe a few more that I grew but got all males. After that I'll be doing more of one strain at a time with the odd fems tossed in.

Yeah, for now, but whan the Chunk-a-Dunk harvest that's gonna be 6 plants all in close proximity. Then they spread out a bit and the new ones join in, etc. The empty spaces came from the break before the contest to make room - now I may have over done it. But I have plenty of beans.

I snagged that 100 pack of Trinity x OG. Supposed to be too male heavy for pack release but the girls are great. But a plant is a plant so I may be doing 5 at a time repeatedly until I get a few girls. Treating that 5 beans like looking for one girl should be close. but they're regs so time and soil is time and soil.

The three fems I dropped this time are ones I have had issues with, but generally I shoot for 6 girls per drop, with more or less being based on how many I got last time and space. The Chunks were the re-start of the 6-plant rotation. Then a bunch of random shit that eventually worked out to 6 on accident, now this drop of 12 girls, with fems on the side that if they pop I'll probably be cloning.

Something that I just thought of that may be random, but it seems like the fem plants I have grown finish quicker on average than the reg females.

No clue on those bulk beans. I'll drop 5 to get a girl instead of two or three, then see. After a few drops I should have an idea.

My set-up as it stands is perfect for 15 beans. Crappy pic, but you get the idea. So if I drop 5 only planning to get 1 girl i can still drop 10 plain regs with a 50/50 shot and get my 6.

With regs it's always a guess, and some of the ones I got two or three males first try with no girls may be exactly this scenario -but the breeder had no clue. Sold packs of mostly male beans. Maybe? Who knows. I think anything i drop with the trinity is gonna be in my ballpark of effects I like.

I got the hydrometer in and tested my alcohols and the vodka tincture I did.

The everclear distilled out ad 190proof, so it gained some water, probably moisture content from the weed, and that's probably the reason for the smell as well.

The Vodka distilled out at 70 proof from 80, and the herbal tincture I made from the vodka was pretty much zero proof so I put it in an ice cube tray.

Interesting results. I am going to monitor the everclear and if it keeps gaining water recovery might not be that great long term. I'll play with the vodka tinctures with the herbal stuff next fall.

I think the best test would be to just distill half a bottle of alcohol then measure the half that got distilled vs the half that didn't.

I dropped beans just after midnight on the 10th, morning of the 11th. Morning of the 13th and I have 7 of 15 up. I had to flip over the Catpiss Kush because the root was in the air. But it was still thin and flexible and should have no issues. It and one of the Frosty McFish were helmet heads but a few squirts of water and they fixed themselves after a few hours.

I have a bird feeder that sucks, and an area under my mulberry tree where the seed lands when the shitty little birds scratch it all out. I have been putting shredded paper, mail, colored food boxes etc. in places that don't matter much and the worms tear that shit up. The morning doves also like feeding then roosting there. I counted over 20 a few days ago.

I hope the Sour Hebrew ends up female. Note the triangle shape

I took some leaves and lower limbs off the Rasperry Boogies and the Jane Doe. They look like umbrella trees now.

And the diversity is showing up in this tent, especially with that Blue Jack City lower left.

As a review, I dropped $10 on the pack of Frosty MacFish just based on the description. I have beans I have dropped real money on that are waiting in the fridge.

A good description sells beans. He has another Fish Piss cross I am looking to get but I want to see how these turn out first. The others are in the $10/bean range instead of $10/ pack. Dagga keeps a tally of what's in stock and there's several for now, I can watch to see if they suddenly get popular and snag one but I am having patience this year

After having less than stellar germ rates I changed the only thing new, which was using the ProMix HP as a seed starter. It worked well at first but as it aged I think it soured or fermented or something. So I got some black gold seed starter soil and I think that might be the ticket.

After burning a few test grams of each I ended up with about 3.5oz of the Macchiato x Jaro. The 3 longer ones all weighed the same and have a little different color and aroma. I'll burn through the early one while waiting for the rest to cure.

10-11 weeks flower, so basically 4 months for less than an ounce per plant.

But using my happy metric, I harvested almost a QP this month, and it was a slow month

I had a second Catpiss Kush pop up sometime prior to lights on and it's still early. That makes 8 of 12 so far on the regs, with 0-3 on the pre-questionable fems. Hang on...

OK I excavated. The second Comet Fuel and Sunrise Sherbet both had tails and looked good. The SS was a tiny crack so I squeezed a little and it gave a little more without the insides being mush.

Both Snow Cone and the Lemon Piff fem were barely cracked so I fixed that. can't hurt.

Both CLHP were duds... Damn.

That's two empty slots, with probably 3 more but maybe some of the hard-cracks make it. The question is whether or not to drop replacements, and what of. Tomorrow before lights out I'll re-inspect the problem children. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I think however many no-pops I get will get Trinity x 707 OG bulk beans thrown in as fillers. That might be the way to go through a lot of those and get the occasional girl. Dud-fillers.

I forgot to post a pic but that was my last New Years Eve purchase. The 707 order was $100 for 100[+12] regs that he says produced great girls, but had a terrible male to female ratio - unless you were hunting a breeding male or something. So if he sold them as 10-packs he'd be sending out tons of replacement packs so why bother. But with direct sales he can let them go with no extra hassle.

If anyone else is interested the OG crosses posted as bulk were all too male heavy, but the girls were fire.

The Kush Cleaner bulk beans are all the ones that were mostly Kush Cleaner leaning females. But 50/50 m/f ratio. So there would be bulk Kush Cleaner from reg seed and you can pick whatever mom structure you like to grow it on based on what it's crossed to, and you might find a mom-leaning girl.

*hint* even smoking whenever I want to I doubt I could go through a QP a month.

That is why I have decarb machines, a nug-smasher, cannagar molds, a weed fridge... And if you ever stop by bring a few empty mason jars and we'l fix that right up.

I think having already excavated and seen the status of each bean, seeing progress tomorrow will be easy. Even if it's slow progress, gravity don't lie.

For now I have a row of 5 cups with no sprouts. Dropping 5 of the bulk seeds at once was the original plan anyway.
