Not sure about any of that. I have heard that CBD will counter the efffects of THC, so smoking a CBD pre-roll can take the edge off a 'too much' edible high
i had understud that in a thc plant, that the cbd was mostly in the roots.

Sounds bro-science-ish but I don't know. I do know people use the roots to make specific salves and tinctures for specific ailments, but I think that's more like using ginger root, or lemon balm or any other half-ass medicinal plant. I heard of someone boiling the roots and then distilling it or something like that.

I am in the process of reducing that toothache plant I grew down to a strong tincture. I used that magic butter machine with vodka instead of everclear (that's for weed LOL). I saved all the flowers but any that weren't completely bloomed went into the vat too. All dried and chopped up. I am hoping there's an numbing quality to it that works on a swab instead of having to shew that nasty flower. Maybe it works for suts and scrapes, or maybe in a roll-on for muscle pain? Who knows.

I think as more research is done they'll find a lot of uses for every part of the plant. I make sure the roots all get back into my soil, but I haven't messed with them - yet... 😜

I'm messing with pics to post, but while the "other pants" subject was up part of my winterizing was to chop every herb plant off at the base. Most will start re-vegging under the leaves next spring, some won't.

Most wasn't food-grade without a lot of selection and snipping so it's going to a compost project. But I also saves all the sticks stems and trunks. I have a variety of "herb-wood" from peppermint, sage, marjoram, thyme and a few others.

I see herbs as annuals, so I plant what I want every year. Now I am doing it in the tent too. But after the season instead of killing them I just dig a quick hole and stick them on the edge of the woods. Thrive or die. Most thrive.

So I am going to do a separate little compost/wormbin container with some dank herb bedding - leftover hash pulp and other weed trimmings included.

My smallest at the moment got up-potted last night and are still getting used to it. I gave all my veg plants a shot of that kelp-y 'Cytoplus' freebie I got from Bio-Ag. I think Bio-Ag has a humic acid concentrate or blend that is proprietary and is in all their stuff - for what that's worth.

None of them seemed to hate it, and the mini Chemdog looked to really get an overnight boost. It's on an upside-down 1g and only in a 1/2g pot. Most of this closet is veg projects. The Milk and Sugar is still acrowded mess. I am thinking taking a few fan leaves is next - but I'm scared!!! :ROFLMAO:
-The relative monster is the ChemD, and it is now putting out some lowers I can get clones from in the future. I am leaning towards topping it and cloning that, and leaving 8-10 lombs below the topping for bothe more clones, and then flowering a 4-top.
-The Purple Heart is the manifold that just got raped and pillaged this evening. It has 4 good shoots on the first true leaf node. Since I am not looking for smoke out of that I think a larger one for med-ibles might be the ticket. Might let it or one of it's clones catch pollen. or drop a few new since I have a lot. A 1:1 crossed with a full THC should give a variety of offspring. I think added potency might be more my style but it might be a fun hunt for people to find a med that works for them.

This is the tall ones, the Lemon Cello is a later flip but should stretch a bit and not need the high chair. The Amy Aces look to be packing on weight already, and the skinny-ass Durb doesnt like the cold. I think that one grows again during a summer grow.

The Amy on the right has triploid stuff every node until it hits the top.

And the shorty tent. The solo-cup auto is finishing rather nicely.

That has more to do with the dry, cure, and grind than anything else. Unless it's so greasy it clogs in a joint. I just mean as far as the claim that flushing will make a difference.

For example: damp weed will not burn clean with white ash. Don't care who grew it, or how. Conversely, perfectly dried and cured weed that grinds with the right consistency (ie. not too dry and powdery) it will burn with a white ash.

A marlboro burns with a white ash...
yes and even congress ,cant find out everything, in a marlboro or winston.

A weed is a plant who's best properties, have yet to be found.

I'm leaning towards bro science. How many? What do you do with them? I think that one is like coffee helping a drunk sober up - you just get an awake drunkard. Seems like a psychosomatic thing. Like, if I stomp on your toe, you'll forget about your finger hurting for a minute ;)

"I'm high and eating peppercorns - what the fuck???" :ROFLMAO:

I haven't read it all, but there is supposedly some science backing it, and it has something to do with peppercorns (also cinnamon) containing specific terpenes that are able to bind to some of the same receptors that THC binds to.

So you eat it? suck on it? smoke it? Make a tea?
I understand that in a lab certain compounds can interact with other compounds and neutralize them. Like high and low pH together.

I'm too high? Quantify that.
I'm not as high after (whatever) with the peppercorns? Quantify that in relation to the first one factoring in the time-degradation of the high that will normally take place.

I'm not trying to be a dick. High, a little high, really high, too high, these are all subjective. Therefore any change in any of those conditions is also subjective. For any scientist to say with authority "this happens" to your high I want to see numbers. How did they determine this?

I hear smoking CBD flower can knock the edge off a buzz. One cannabinoid interacting with another seems logical, but there's still no science there.

They say chewing them, or even sniffing the aroma of ground pepper, can help take the edge off. The specifically mention it helping with paranoia caused by too much THC.

We as stoners just need to remember what actual science is. I do side-by-side experiments to see what will happen in my grow all the time - none of it is science, it is all anecdotal.

Here's an example. I got freebie CBG seeds so I started doing some research to see what the fuck it did.

I found that there was a study that showed it was good for intestinal stuff, some other things, and I thought "cool".

Then I read the "study" was based on a survey of medical weed patients that had been prescribed CBG weed for specific ailments,. and then the doctors getting feedback on what the people said worked. That is all anecdotal as well.

CBG could do hundreds of things, but a few "doctors" have prescribed it for a few things - for some reason - and the patients that may have any number of other causal factors report that "yeah doc, it worked for my "_____".

There would need to be double-blind, placebo controlled trials with a large sample size to get any reasonable scientific answers. And each study would need to be for one specific condition.
