Vertical Goodness and Other Batshit Craziness

Once they get roots add some nutrients, pH to 5.8 , crank up the lights and they will explode.
In the past I've had poor luck running them without substrate all the way through, so I have out them in coco and then up pot into netpot bucket lids and RDWC. It seems counterintuitive but it's reliable, if slow. Any advice on keeping them from stalling when I put them in 2" cups of coco?

Oi ttystikk, if those are just getting out of the "nursery" does that mean their about to be new digs is small veg? And do you just let them run in all these different stages(nurse, small veg, big veg) until they max out that space until they ultimately end up in flower?

Cheers, Z.
Small veg is under my stairs. They go from there into a bigger veg room (where the "lazy" girls are at the moment) and from there into bloom.

After too many delays, none of which had to do with anything gardening related, here's the completed setup for the three ladies. For scale, those are 4" squares on the trellis. No, it's not vertical but that's not the point of it.

Next up, the plants!

I was taking a pile if cuts last week thinking about you homie, lol
Your advice was the difference between years of frustration and a cloner full of beards.

We need to trade some cuts sometime; I really need to get my Hillbilly Hobby in your hands to see what you'd do with it; most of my connoisseur head friends rave about it, more than one has called it their all time favorite.

Would love to run some seeds of that, always in search of some bad ass sativa doms.

I mixed a fresh batch of nutrient stock solution, I make up a healthy batch of 8 gallons at 200g of my 5-11-26 per gallon, a total of 1600g. The directions say to mix up enough to last at least a couple of weeks, this to ensure that any settling or stratification in the bag won't affect the final mix. I used to do a hundred grams or so at a time and it made my micros weird and inconsistent from batch to batch. Doing larger amounts has solved that problem; amazing what actually reading the manufacturer's instructions will do for you!

So now I know that if I use my half gallon scoop, I'll get 100 grams of mix. Easy peasy. The rest of the dry nutes don't need to be mixed into solution ahead of time because they're just one nutrient salt at a time.

My current late veg and early bloom mix is a ratio of 2.5 parts mix, 2 parts calcium nitrate and one part epsom salt.

To fill a reservoir of three 27 tuffboxes from empty, that's 250g, 1.25 gallons or 20 cups of stock solution, 200g of calcium nitrate and 100g of epsom salt. Conveniently, most of my reservoirs are some multiple of 3 tuffboxes.

The 3 plant RDWC is now ready, as is the pair of 3x3 flood tables.

As soon as I catch my breath and get a bite to eat, I'll be moving a bunch of girls around into their new homes. Pics to follow!
