Force is about the only backing that will be left and well considering the amount of nukes and egos floating around..... .Chasing capital aimlessly in the middle and using it to control at the top. This is what happens when greed is allowed to run rampant. Take away the $ and 85% of our infrastructure is useless. That's why I advocate for jobs with the idea to build a sustainable and functioning society that isnt based around circlejerking into a jug for the elite to gobble up. For some that equals being petty and lazy though. Or not wanting a "job" . One can have integrity and not want to be debased as a human for the selfish benefit of another. That's kinda like freedom to me. I have no problem doing hardwork if that hard work has a good purpose behind it.

You might be right there but when China produces 50 X as much rice as we do, whatever we are shipping to them is immaterial and nothing more than a publicity stunt by Trump. I can see Trump bragging about us shipping .1 % of our rice and bragging about it when in all actuality its nothing at all. Shit, China probably needed rice for dog food for Whips friend and figured might as well get it from the US as it probably tastes like dog food already and didnt want to waste their supply.

There’s the number I’ve been looking for. 6% are straight covid deaths, so that’s what 9k people who died of covid. “On average there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death”. So if you’re already sick covid will finish you off.

We need to cancel teachers unions (keeping worthless teachers employed like the police unions protect dirty cops) and reallocate the mindset so that teaching is a desired, well paid profession, with competition for positions rather than trying to fill slots with the barely qualified that wanted to teach because they wanted summers off and a guaranteed job in contract.

I can speak from experience (last year of the degree was teaching 4th grade) that the kids are not the problem. They are sponges ready to absorb whatever is taught. The problem is teachers that have never seen the outside of a classroom. They love air conditioning too much. They sat at a desk for 12 years, another 4 years both behind and in front of the desk, then bingo, you are a teacher on the other side of the desk - having never experienced anything but the classroom environment.

Because of that lack of experience, there is no confidence. There is curriculum and boxes to check, but no encouragement of thought. They teach the kids what to think, not how to think - because they don't have the capacity to answer hard questions from inquisitive students.
