This I can agree on. Mainly because of nonsensical policies and people who even if it was effective isnt going to work because of how its used and not whether it is or isnt.
My understanding is that countries without mask stocks did not push for it until having adequate stocks. It was mainly a question of availability: check the mask policy of Asian countries where the use was already widely spread.

Look it up on the CDC site. I'm tired of providing you with links just for you to not even bother looking because you feel they are less reliable than CNN. It was all over the news about a month ago that the CDC was saying that disinfecting surfaces was found to not prevent the spread of the virus. When they initially thought it could be spread by contact, it was only because they thought the membrane in your eyelids could carry the virus into your body if you touched your eyes with a contaminated hand, but then they found that to also be incorrect.
What about in your mouth, nose ?

We can stockpile nuclear missiles in the event of a nuclear war but not surgical masks?

Not bandanas no or basic cloths but the not can. Not rated for it but has been shown 95% effective against particles of corona size. The mask mandate is foolish not because or science. Just because how it was mandated to begin with. Trying to watch people put on a basic cloth mask was a clear example it wouldmt work very well
Is it REALLY 95% effective though? Does that figure factor in the aire that escapes by the nose and chin? How about when people have beards? How much you want to bet that efficacy was come to from pushing particals that small through a tube that had the N95 material tightly sealed against the other end of the tube?

From what I understand, it cannot be contracted that way. An epidemiologist who has been studying coronavirus for years explained this back in March or April. I posted a link to the clip where he discussed that, and the entire podcast, in a post in this thread a week or two ago.

I'll see if I can find the info later on, I'm working right now so I don' thave time to search their site. I will say, though, that it wasn't in the general area like that where it's out for the general public to easily find. It was in the form of a research article/pdf when I read it. They are trying to get the public to be much safer than necessary because the public is pretty fucking stupid when it comes to preventing the spread of illness as it is. People go to work sick all the time when they shouldn't.
That's cause they are stupid right ? Not because they live in a system like ours and live check to check to pay bills and want to try to keep their measly job.

I'm working right now but I'll try to look later on when I'm free. Where are your sources? BTW, if you are talking about my sources for the statements in that quote then look back through this thread because I already posted those. Search for "lightening" in the thread because I talk about how you are more likely to get struck by lightening in that post.
With all the post you made you did not find time to provide ba single link to some data/sources !

Answering something quickly isn't the same as looking for a specific article on a cluttered government website. Maybe you wouldn't be so clueless if you understood the difference. I have 3 monitors in front of me and one is dedicated to browsing and the other two are for programming and graphic design.

We should start holding parents accountable for something.
100% but the food industry has cause rampant problems in healthcare etc with false information and lack of information. The fda ridiculed fats and allowed sugars to sweep in instead. Many lost their careers trying to fight issues like these.

The govt just needs to stop telling people how they should eat and leave that to the individual's physicians. The "food pyramid" was complete bullshit.

Propaganda.... bullshit.... whatever you wanna call it. One small example of how profit before morality creates greatness in our society.
