Yeah! I will also stop to stop at red lights!
Fuckin sheeps on my way... Get away!
People choose laws to ignore every day that put others at risk. Do you obey the speed limit at all times? Do you wait for a “walk signal” before you cross a street every time one is there? Do you always stay out of the left lane except when passing and stay all the way to the right when you are driving slower than the majority of the other vehicles on the road? Ever drive after smoking weed? Even just a little hit? How about after taking prescription drugs that have a warning saying you shouldn’t drive after taking?

Every situation is dif. But all you can do is use your brain and do what you think is right at that moment. I wear my mask when it's appropriate if that makes sense. Usually just outta respect

I considered all points of view,
I think your claim is inaccurate.

You may have considered points of view within the allowable political spectrum. I don't think you considered points of view OUTSIDE the normal political spectrum.

The means to do something is part of the end result, to only point at the end result you desire without considering the means used to get there is the problem of ALL politics. The means used by politics on "the left and the right" to push their ideas are virtually identical.

if you could present something new or different, and showed it as based on sound and substantive constructs rather than your dissatisfaction with the status quo, I'd give it consideration.
No, you wouldn't. I REPEATEDLY asked you where the right to rule came from....you couldn't answer.

You did gymnastics to avoid that question when it was obvious you were stumped.
The answer is simple, there is NO right to rule, something both the left and right ignore and go to great lengths to keep a lid on. They are identical in that regard.

I used sound and substantive logical constructs, even employed very simple math to prove my point.

But please carry on in your make believe political world where people think because the left and right are "normal" (occur on a regular and routine basis) that somehow what is normal cannot be absurd and self evidently irrational based only in force and savagery.

Exactly! It just drives me nuts when people try to equate conforming to the need to wear a mask to conforming to wearing a seatbelt or stopping at a red light. If people want to really be serious about stopping this virus then we’d all be wearing gas masks with filters that are suitable for filtering out all biological threats. How many “pro mask” people do you think would last more than a day in MOPP 4 gear?

Perhaps before you go you could give a few examples of moral men who should be deciding things? Other than Woods and Savage. Thanks in advance.

Morality? If you can't prove or show your right to proceed in an endeavor, by tying it to a principle ,wouldn't that mean the morality of that endeavor is in question?

I'll see your James Woods and raise you a Thomas Woods.

Problem here just like with everything it's not black and white. People like to dig their heels in though and make it black and white

Actually as more testing is done, finding more people that have had it, while the death rate keeps dropping - means FACTUALLY that it is not as deadly as they claim. Especially since we know for a fact that they have lied about the deaths, and since local government mandates (infected people to nursing homes) actually killed thousands.

It is the flu. Period. Take away the election year, and it is the flu - that doesn't hurt kids or healthy people. Gimme that kind of flu every year instead of the ones that randomly kill people in every age group.

Yes, lots of room for discussion and exchange of ideas is a good thing. It's easier to say, "hey that's not for me, but go ahead and try it with your friends and see how it works out for you" than to say, "okay everybody this is WHAT we're doing like it or not". The last part comes with a plethora of unintended consequences.

I do contend that two vital things are black and white though.

First, whether a person actually consents to something or not. Politics as a self serving institution doesn't want to go there and prefers that be gray.

Human relations. They either begin and proceed on a mutual and voluntary basis or they don't. Again, politics doesn't want any part of that idea, and has to lie to claim they have consent.

I completely agree with you, but why blame people chosing to follow the instructions? You don't blame people stopping at the red light, so do the same with the ones wearing a mask!

Stopping at red light in the middle of the night when you can clearly see there is no traffic in any other direction is a reflexive action, not one that will ensure safety.

Maybe wearing masks is a reflexive over reaction for some people ?

Nobody here is blaming anyone who chooses to wear a mask, unless I missed something. What is going on in this thread is people like me are openly questioning the efficacy of wearing a mask, or the various other face coverings that are permitted in the "order", and we are the ones getting yelled at by lemmings who don't have the self confidence to question the government. I have no problem if you or anyone else wants to wear a mask and, as I've said before, I wear one when I go into a store...but only to make the lemmings feel more comfortable and to avoid a public freakout. What I have a problem with is people who demand people like me are wrong because the MSM told them so.

I guess you did blame people, or I don't understand your meaning of lemmings

Fuck that shit! Nothing more fun than wearing that all day in the desert in Southern California. Shit was junk anyway, probably wouldn't have worked if we needed it.

I want to know the number of people admitted to hospitals currently for covid. People admitted. Thats the number we need to look at.

I thought they were only gonna ask us to wear them for 14 days. Hmmm. Maybe they need a new calendar.
