I was going to grab boards but since I went much bigger I wanted a more even light coverage. Strips was the best choice for me. I could have went cheaper on the price but I dont have a way of cutting the metal etc in my local area.

I like the new Samsung strips myself. Perfect coverage for a 4x4 Won’t be grabbing them until the cobs go but their deff on my list to buy

This is what I just grabbed. I could have gotten them alot cheaper if I was able to build the frame myself. I got the bottom kits at 615 each but got 2 for 1100 because of how I paid.
8 - 30x400mm Strips with 96 Samsung lm301b / lm301h LEDs

Each Strip has:

64 - 2700k Samsung lm301b

16 - 4000k Samsung lm301h

16 - 6500k Samsung lm301b



6 - 30x400mm Strips with 90 Samsung lm301b / lm301h LEDs plus Red & IR

Each Strip has:

58 - 2700k Samsung lm301b

16 - 4000k Samsung lm301h

16 - 6500k Samsung lm301b

4 - 660nm Deep Red

2 - 730nm Far Red(IR)





14 - 40mm x 430mm heatsinks

4 - pcs 36" - 18ga 1/2" pre-drilled aluminum angle to connect the heatsinks

2 - pcs 12" - 18ga 1/2" pre-drilled aluminum angle to connect the 2 frames

30mm double sided thermal tape to apply boards to heatsinks

Meanwell HLG-480H-C24A w/internal potentiometers for dimming

wago connectors for power and led hookup

10 ft Power cord for driver

20 feet of solid core 18ga wire to hook strips up

Screws for assembly







For that kit, it would be $565 pre-drilled(with the screws by the way) or $1100 for 2. Its just cheaper to ship them together.
