I believe it’s called Coro-plast.Put seeds in here w q tips in each end . Then put into bubble manilla envelope. Not sure what it's called but granite guys use for their templates.
They try to get you to buy insurance on Canada post to.From what I have read, the USPS really does no "checks" on what is sent through them other than asking if you are shipping something breakable/flammable, or high-value to try and sell you insurance.
When contraband was found was there any ramifications for the person recieving the package? No need to BUY IT. You can rip down those TRUMP 2020 signs from the idiots yards and have all the coroplast you''ll need for years.
Cut it to fit in an envelope or cut out a window in a piece of cardboard and tape the coroplast inside the cutout.. Send it with the rest of the letters. This works for bubble hash and rosin too. (hash goes into the cardboard cut out window) "they Deliver for you". Yup. I've had a few packages intercepted and received the fabled "we believe this package may contain contraband/illegal substances" post card on every occasion....but every single letter I've sent has made it to it's recipient..no problem.
Envelopes don't get any scrutiny unless white powder falls out of 'em. don;t send white powder.
Not for what was sent in this instance. Less than a z. Prolly not enough to fuck with for prosecution....but if it was BIGLY weight...the story very likely would have been different. The other time my box was nabbed I was sending cuts. Both times I received a postcard and the recipient received the same postcard. After those 2 instances I stopped mailing buds/playing the game. Still got seeds delivered at that address/ box after that...no problems. FWIW....my understanding is that the USPS needs a warrant to open packages. UPS/FEDEx/whoever else simply do not. When contraband was found was there any ramifications for the person recieving the package?
Which is probably the reason some breeders put the "novelty" or "souvenir" disclaimer on their packs. Not for what was sent in this instance. Less than a z. When we wuz doing big sends my buddy made a lead box we'd send back and forth. No x-rays would touch it...no knife/poker would penetrate it.
Be safe folks. Federal (Felony) charges aren't fun/cost muy dinero to fight. Even where it's legal it isn't legal to use the mail in such a manner.
From what I understand, and I certainly can be misinformed, shipping cannabis seeds is only illegal when there is intent for them to be grown. The reason for labeling them as novelty items, and including a warning saying they are being sold as such, is to protect the seller from any liability if the purchaser does grow them. It's kind of like how in some states it is perfectly legal to sell amunition that has had the primer and gun powder removed. Or in the same way you can buy all of the parts of an AR-15, with the exception of the lower receiver, and it is not considered a firearm."Bird seed", "Novelty". Those tags mean nothing in the eyes of the law.....much like the word "donation" simply means "I'm selling this bag and you need to give me money for it'...not "I'm donating this to you, free-of-charge." Here in CO I can GIFT you an ounce legally but if ANY type of monetary compensation is agreed upon...it becomes a "sale" and crosses the line into illegality.

I think this is technically correct. Since the USPS is federally funded, it can be federally illegal. So is growing in your closet in some states. Fed-up and UPS are private companies and can use loopholes to ensure they are not shipping anything illlegal or dangerous. My understanding is that shipping anything in the USPS system that is derived from the cannabis plant is Federally illegal. Seeds are a part of the plant. It doesn't matter what your intent is after buying them. It's the act of sticking them in the mail system that is definitely illegal.
With that said...in my 20+ years of ordering seeds I can only remember one instance where someone was taken down by confiscated mail. It was a good decade ago if not more...in Cali...and the recipients were operating a large hash oil manufacturing facility. the DEA was already on their trail...and the seed shipment was their easy way in.
Either way...it's never good when you get notified by the FED that something is amiss. Definitely rattles the cage.
