In the 80s we used to go to Canada for vacation in a cabin in my dad’s pickup truck. Mom and dad would be in the cab and my brother and I would be in the bed, on an old mattress with a boom box and a cooler full of sodas for the 8 hour trip, and we loved the ride up thereand rideing down the highway in the bed of a pickup truck,sitting on the bed rail.
in the late 80's my brother in law found, a van seat we put in the bed of his ford, so the kids could ride in the back made family reunions in far eastern .ky. drove all over with three kids in the bed( no seat belts) , never got stoped for it. they lived in nashville ,tn.took them several more hours for them to catch up,most times they caught about louisville,ky.In the 80s we used to go to Canada for vacation in a cabin in my dad’s pickup truck. He lived to be 17.

He was the best. I have 17 years of stories. I buried him two summers ago and I haven't been able to bring myself to get another dog yet...He looks like a good boy!
