Would this veg a 3x3 ?

Looking to see if this is enough for a 3x3 in veg only. Specs say it does but I don't believe what those specs say 99.9 % of the time.

I want to replace my 2x4 tent with a 3x3. Not sure if this is enough to do the job. Would be for late veg only too.

I’d look for about 150-200W for veg. I don’t think 100 would get me there but I’ve never tried

And T5’s are great for early veg but not so much for mid or late veg imo

That's what I was thinking using the at least 30 watts per square foot rule. Just HLG is pretty reliable so it threw me off when it said it would veg a 3x3 and flower a 2x2. I could care less about flowering with it.

It should be close I'm vegging my 3 by 3 with the tS1000. And it's perfect but I wouldn't go less than 150 watts in there

Yea know...I didn't think about running a 1000 in there. Is the 1000 the only light in it?

I run an HLG65 in a 2.5’ x 2.5’ from seedling to mid veg and it works well for that. The coverage ratings HLG uses seem to be pretty accurate based on what I’ve seen.

Yea. I read it the wrong way. The TSW-2000 is a square one for a 3x3 in flowering 4x4 veg I believe

I think you’d get more even coverage with two 65s

You'd have to space accordingly and check with the lux meter I wonder if it would be more heat as well

It would definitely add some heat from the extra 30 watts.
