Remember in the first one, how the one crew member - Joe Pantoliano ? - betrayed his crew to the machines so he could be 'maintained' in an artificial life of sinful luxury? That made all the sense in the world to me, so I didn't care so much about the battle for mankind. Where's my weed, whisky, and wild women? I'm down w/ Joe.
