WTF? What happened to Frenchy? I just got a message from him on IG a week or so ago and he’s been working on a new book.
Just found the post from his wife. For anyone else wondering, Frenchy passed away due to complications during surgery on Sunday.

I have a feeling his wife will keep it going. If she can’t then hopefully Leo will, he seemed to be very close to Frenchy. I hope the documentary and book he’s been working on still get released, too.

After Frenchy passed on I decided to finally buy a traditional chillum so I could try smoking some hash the old way he promoted. Finding traditional clay chillums was pretty hard, but I found a guy on Etsy from India who makes really affordable ones. When I ordered it, it said not to expect delivery until August 12th - September 17th, but the damn thing showed up today! Cost me a little under $50 (including shipping) and came with 2 plugs.

Just ordered one. $40 for the black claywith two stoppers, a stick and a wool bag. Shipping is a beast, but still cheaper than the italian ones.
