Photone phone app vs a couple different par meters

So a friend asked me to compare my par meters to the photon phone app to see if I can get proper numbers for him. I will be doing it this weekend at some point

I have a pulse pro, which I’ve ran next to the apogee mq500 and I have a photobio

I’ll post pics and result here over the next day or 2

What a waste of money that was. Just did a real quick test on all 3 and the app is out to fucking lunch

Ill get them all perfectly level and same height and re test them here shortly

As my tests before the pulse is within 35ppfd as the photobio , but the app is out by 155ppfd

So it’s off by like 25% lmao Was it high or low.
I think the app notes mention that it can be off from the start and recommends calibrating it against a higher end meter.

Edit: I take that back...It says it has been calibrated against each iPhone model but it does let you calibrate it if needed.

LMAO. I’m going to do the app again tonight when I get home. I don’t think I ever did it with my Mars light.
