This is my report for day 70 from dry seed and day 28 of 12/12.

Got some bad new today. Just before the lights went out this morning, I noticed a couple of nanners on the shortest plant. I picked them off and then the lights went out.

So this evening when the lights came back on, I pulled the plant out for a good look. I found quite a few nanners at various stages of development. Some looked like they had been open for a while, so I imagine my whole tent is pollinated.

The plant with the nanners has been taken out and put in a separate room. I heard if you leave it in the dark for a few days, it has the potential to increase trichome production. Couldn’t hurt I imagine.

I had a good look over the other the other two plants and couldn’t find any nanners, so that’s good.

I wish I had kept a closer eye looking for this, but they were all on the inside of the plant hiding like the little bastards they are.

So I noticed a couple days ago that some of the white hairs are starting to turn brown. Is that normal for day 28 of 12/12 or is that a sign of pollination?

This is the plant that nannered:

And here are the two that remain:

And this was the canopy before I culled the hermie:

Other than being topped a couple of times, these plants have led a very stress free life, so I imagine that the hermaphroditism is a result of bad genetics.

If anyone has any advice on what I should do now, or maybe if something I’ve done with the hermie isn’t right, I’m all ears.

In my opinion, it depends on the specific plant as to whether those brown hairs are normal or not, and the only way to know is if you have grown it before.

I have had plants that have basically had brown hairs the entire flower period, and some don't get them until the end.

Here is my report for day 77 from dry seed and day 35 under 12/12.

Not much to report this time around.

The tent is a little bare since culling the herm. The two remaining plants are stacking and swelling. I’m sure I’m going to get quite a bit of seed in these buds. I’m not certain, but a lot of the calyxs look like they have a seed developing in them. They are really fat and have a white line on them which is what I assume will become a seed. I tried to get a picture of one:

Here are some other shots of the girls. Sorry for the shitty yellow hps lighting!

That’s it for this now. Have a great week everyone.

PS. The culled plant has been hanging in a cool dark place now for four days. I hope to at least get a little smoke out of it, even though it was pretty immature.

Plants look awesome! Sorry about the Hermy, it happens. Also, kinda late now, but next grow I would remove any of the large fan leaves at the bottom of the plant, or any leaves you feel don’t receive much light. These leaves just transpire a ton of water and raise humidity, and don’t really do much because they’re receiving super low umol’s of light.

Heeeeelllloooo Groooooowwwers!!!

Welcome to day 84 from dry seed and day 42 under 12/12 of Old St1r’s Sweet n’ Sour Grow.

Again, not much to report this time around.

The shorter plant has a few Amber trichomes - I’m thinking maybe another week on her might do it, but that would be only seven weeks in flower. I’ll take another sample in a week and see how the trichs look then.

The taller, more Sativa-y pheno def needs more time. She continues to put out lots of hairs, continues to frost up and is putting on quite a bit of weight. I wish more of the plants had turned out like her.

The plant that hermied, had been hanging in my basement for ten days and this morning I trimmed her immature buds up and put them in jars for a cure. Not much of a smell on her. Maybe some cure time will bring it out. We’ll see.

Heeeelllllooooowww Fellow Grooooowwwwwers!

Here is my update for day 91 from dry seed and day 49 under 12/12.

Again not much to report.

The buds seem to be fattening up still. I’ve been watching the trichomes, and I think the shorter plant is going to be done in another week, right on schedule as per the breeder - finished in 56 days.

The taller plant is going to need more time. It is obviously leaning more towards the Sativa side of its lineage. I’m thinking another two to three weeks.

These plants had their last feed this week and from now on will receive ph’d water only.

Hellllllooooooo Fellow Groooooowwwwwwers!

Reporting for day 98 from dry seed and day 56 under 12/12.

I decided to chop this plant today. Trichs we’re starting to turn amber and so many leaves constantly turning yellow. The breeder said this hybrid finished in 8 weeks so she is right on schedule.

I figure she’ll hang for two weeks and Nader my stairs which is cool, dry, dark and calm before going into jars for the cure.

The other plant is a different pheno and I think she’s going to need another week at least, maybe two.

Back on May 18th when I did a defoliation, I took some cuts and put them in water and this is the only survivor. She is obviously revegging. I have no idea which of the three plants it’s from, I only hope is not from the plant that hermied.

Went ahead and squeezed one of the buds on the plant that is left tonight. They are rock hard. I didn’t think they would be that hard.

Also the smell! The best I can describe it is like Buckley’s Cough Syrup or Vic’s Vaporub-with a berry finish.

Should be an interesting smoke and I’m anxious to see how the aroma develops with curing.

Hellllllllooooooooo Growwwwwwwers!

Reporting today for day 105 from dry seed and day 63 (Nine weeks) under 12/12.

Today was harvest day for the last plant. I’m gonna get the best yield off of this plant and it was the most frosty and smelliest of the bunch, so I’m going to try and re-veg her and get some clones. I’d like to start some new seeds right now but my schedule won’t allow it until my vacation is over.

The smell on this one is hard to describe. It’s almost a menthol smell with some fruit and tar notes.

Here’s some pics for all my fellow pic whores. LMAOOL.

I’m not sure if you can see it in any of the pics, but most of the uppermost buds expressed some purple coloration in the last couple weeks of flower. Cool Beans.

Stay cool brothers. I’ll see ya around.
