Heeeeeellllloooooow Felow Growers!

I’m quite new to all of this. I’ve done some Mickey Mouse grows in the past using fluorescents and construction lights. This time, I upped the ante with some “pro” equipment.

I’m now growing in a 48” x 24” x 70” Marshydro tent with a 600 watt hid/hps light in an air cooled hood. The tent is exhausted outdoors with a 440 CFM fan on a 6” Carbon Filter.

I’m growing in BlueSky Organic soil in 7 gallon fabric pots and will be supplementing wit Remo Nutrients.

I’m growing Sweet ‘N Sour, a cross between Island Sweet Skunk and Sour Diesel from Federation Seeds.

The plants are nearly Five weeks old from dry seed now.

Four weeks from dry seed:

I’ve since re-potted 4 of them to the 7 gallon fabric pots and culled one male. Lucky me, I germinated six seeds and I think five are females (too early to tell, I’m just going by the one male that showed - none of the others are showing). I was planning on only 3 of them being female, .

Being a relative newb to all this comments, suggestions and questions are all welcomed!

Looks good! Thats a pretty decent height for a 2x4 tent. Hows the humidity?

I’m still in veg, so only running the exhaust and one of two circ fans and humidifier all on only whe lights off. Lights off is one circ fan only. I plan to run the exhaust fan 24/7 only when the odor gets too bad. That may not be long because I can smell them when I open the tent and there not eveno five weeks.
Crap how do I edit? LOL. Exhaust , circ and humid on only when lights ON!

Hello Chuckers,

Week five (35 days) from dry seed for my babies today.

Four of them have been transplanted to 7 gallon fabric pots. The fifth remains in a one gallon pot. The plants are starting to grow their sexy parts now so I’ll be watching with a loupe in the days to come so I can cull any males and thin the tent out.

Due to a completion deadline I have, this will be the last week of veg for these plants.

Friday’s light cycle will start
one hour later than normal and shut off one hour early for a 16 hour light cycle. I will do the same on Saturday for a 14 hour cycle with a 12 hour cycle starting on Sunday. So fucking exciting!

Here are how the plants look today:

This one pheno in the group is really cool. It has 11 leaflets per leaf, where all the others only have 7 or 9 and check out the textured leaves and fine serrations. There is some variegation on the center leaflet. This plant also seems to be slower growing and the new growth has a curl on it. Whatbare them little yellow tag looking things? Are they plant labels? Or sticky traps for fungus gnats? I never seem them that small.looking good so far.
Like Sainty said, they are insect sticky traps. I didn't get a lot of those little gnats, just enough of a nuisance so that I would go buy the traps.

I assume the bugs are coming from the soil? You would think store bought soil would be treated for pests......

Thank you. I never seen them look like that. I like them because they arent really huge like the normal ones people use. Where did you get them if you don't mind me asking?
