Thats quite a drop in the PH, hence as mentioned their PH products have buffers in them. Normally in hydro with GHE using Lukas formula I have experienced that the PH might drop just a bit from the normal 6.0 to 5.7 but not as much as you say.

in my RDWC i dont run over 400 ppm and have a PH meter that keeps it between 5.8 and 6.2 all the time. anything over 400 ppm i have issues with the plants.

your ppm are too high. keep the ph between 5.5 and 6.5 by rule. remember in hydro less is more when looking at PPM.

5.8 ph in veg up to day 20 of 12/12……6.0 up to week 6…..6.2 until chop NO FLUSH!!!!!

Ppms should be increased with more intense lighting and co2. I've ran 3.0 ec in rdwc with no issues at all.
