I hate how unstable those are they always plop over on me lol and tend to end up too damp for autos
I don't like them either but some people swear by them. They are just too easy to over saturate for me. Once I tried rotting plugs I never switched back to those.

Definitely don't like the over saturation. I'd use them if I had nothing else. But I just switched to mixing up some peat moss (or Coco) and perlite, filling a solo cup and calling it a day. For photos at least.

Steady as she goes for the Nurple crew, good transplant em to their final home in less than 48 hours. Witch Doctor is another story
the soil under the surface was dryer than i thought, i may have messed up on this one
. I moistened the medium and placed a Ziploc back on top. Fingers crossed,pics below.

Day 9- Thursday - 08/20/2020- 11 am
So i setup the condo for my fun bunch last night and transplanted both of the Nurple babies into 5 gallon fabric pots and Witch Doctor has made no movement. A buddy gave me an amendment that it's supposed to make this water only,but he only gave me enough for 1 auto and 1 photo
It's called Natures Living Soil(Autoflower). So here's the rundown.
Tent - 2x4x6.5
Soil for both - 70% Bio Biz light mix, 10% Coco Loco, and 20% perlite.
Amendments - Nurple #1:Soil mix and Nature's Living Soil blended on bottom 1/3. Soil mix on top 2/3.
Nurple #2: Soil mix with Dr Earth dry amendments blended throughout entire pot.
5tsp Veg, 2tsp all purpose, 3 tsp flower girl. Lights - On their side i have a Mars ts1000 @ 25% distanced for a lux reading of about 6500. On the opposite side i have a Mars ts600 over some other plants, that is distanced above then for a Klux reading of about 17000.
Temp is 80 degrees Fahrenheit, RH is 71%.
Ventilation- 1 small oscillating fan on floor, 1 fan hanging from ceiling, 1 AC infinity 4" inline fan for exhaust(when needed). I have the carbon filter but haven't set it up.

***side note***
@TreeFarmerCharlie I ordered,received, and setup that Blumat watering system on their roommates. Thanks for the info you provided about them last week. I just put then in yesterday and will let you know how they work out. Hopefully i installed them correctly

Nothing to report,but business a usual! Both Nurple ladies are on track, but nothing from Witch Doctor. May have to call it a wrap for the Doc, I'll give it thru the weekend. Pics below.(bonus pics from greenhouse last night)

Good evening! Just a quick status report. Nurple #1 & Nurple #2 are doing great. Watered them this morning 50ml ph'd @6.7. Surprisingly my Witch Doctor seed sprouted and broke ground.... 10 days after being soaked and put in a paper towel and 8 days after going on the soil!!! I almost gave up yesterday,but said i would give it the weekend. Glad i decided to hold on to it!!! Wonder why it took so long...
