I believe this as well as some plants can fight off root pathogens

If you have BAD bugs...

The good bugs (and microscopic critters) are what helps build that effective plant defense system. Just under my mulch and cover crop I have bugs in my soil. and worms. And littler stuff. But I see nothing on my plants - ever. No gnats stuck in the flowers, nothing crawling up the main stem, it's like a symbiosis thing.

I haven't bought any "beneficial" insects to add to any grows, the bugs just happen. Little white shredder mites are the main ones, the ones that eat any dead worms in a worm bin.
