Figured it was time to start a journal. Here's an introduction and a little bit about myself: http://chuckersparadise.com/threads/hello-all.2713/

So on deck for this run is:

Blackberry soda (Seattle soda x Blackberry tart) is a limited collaboration between Tony greenhand and super seed company.
&
Bubblegum aka Indiana Bubblegum (Bubblegum s1 x Bubblegum s1) is by csi: Humboldt

I have never grown anything out from either of these two so here we g(r)o(w)...

Both were put in root riot cubes as of Monday night. Tuesday, I added:
5ml of rapid start
10ml of hydroguard to each 5 gallon bucket

Week 1:
Well, we are officially off and running as of yesterday evening.
Both popped their heads above the cube, with no helmets on their heads. Not bad for just putting them in on Monday night. I adjusted the ph and put the domes back on for atleast another day. The humidifier will go in sometime this weekend. I have not checked ppm yet but will today or tomorrow.

Bubblegum (which I had the "s1" part in the wrong spot initially btw,oh well)
Ph: 5.7
Ppm: N/A
Res temp: 73° F

Blackberry soda
Ph: 5.7
Ppm: N/A
Res temp: 73° F

Hoping we'll get some roots wanting to dip their toes into the bubbling spa below soon...

Took a peek this morning and both ladies are loving life. I am somewhat concerned about bubblegum's stretch. The cob lights will not go down any further than what they are set at. I'm hopeful she stops stretching her new legs for now. We've had to use a chopstick for a crutch in the past, but I'd rather not have to do that. The humidity is at around 40% so the humidifier will probably come into play today I'm thinking. Gonna go outside fairly soon and get the vegetable garden going outside. Since it will actually stay above frost levels now.

Week 2-

Both are looking great and as of Sunday, both have roots dangling down into the resoviour where a mixture of rapid start and hydroguard await. The humidifier also went in and is set at 65% RH. It has a cool feature that it can be set on any percent humidity. It conserves alot of water that way and shuts off automatically when it runs out. I like it so much I have another one on the way. The tower fan is blowing on high but pointed away, as I don't want the shit getting beat out of them but still make em dance a little bit.

Bubblegum:
I was worried about her being too stretchy at first but it looks like she's (possibly) stopped just at the nick of time. Her first set of true leaves are coming in nicely. Her Ppm is higher than her sister's, but she don't seem to mind.

Ph: 5.9
Ppm: 230
Res temp: 73°F

Blackberry soda:
Also coming along great so far and looking good with her first set of true leaves coming out as well. Her roots look to be dangling farther into the bucket than her bubblegum sister at this point.

Ph: 5.9
Ppm: 120
Res temp: 73°F

Week 3-
Both received their first official feeding. I went 2-2-1 with the base nutes, then added 10ml of hydroguard, calmag, and silicablast. It was mixed into 1 gallon of R/O water and split between both buckets.

Bubblegum:
So uh... yea, about her stretching too much. I kinda fucked up and should've listened to @TreeFarmerCharlie about putting something under the bucket to lift her up. So out came the chopstick crutch and a plant tie. She's more stabilized now but will possibly have the crutch tied to her for awhile. Kinda sucks, but oh well I guess.. ain't the first rodeo dealing with this, may not be the last. Other than that, she's looking good, showing more growth and her roots are getting longer by the day. Ph has been stable and her Ppm were going down a little bit, before I topped them off last night. So that's good

Ph: 5.7
Ppm: 430
Res temp: 73°F

Blackberry soda:
No issues with her at all. She's got a good height about her and her roots are also dangling down further and she's exhibiting growth by the day. Ph is stable like her sister's and the Ppm is also going down just a bit. So good stuff overall.

Ph: 5.7
Ppm: 236
Res temp: 73°F

Just for shits and giggles I threw this Mephisto genetics alien versus triangle auto inside of groots head. She just popped on Friday. May as well see what she can do too 👽😄20210524_185956.jpg20210524_190000.jpg20210524_190007.jpg

I'm coming up on harvest of Sour Stomper and Cdlc. They look and smell great
Avt is supposed to be#1 from mephisto... might be worthwhile to invest some love into that lady.
Definitely. I've grown out the sour stomper and AvT before. Both put out great tasting smoke and decent yields for us. I gave AvT her first butt chug of nutes the other day and she responded well. I've been lobbying with the wife about transplanting AvT into atleast a slightly bigger pot. She likes AvT to stay inside of groot. So I guess we'll see 🤣.

Week 4-
Officially half way through veg...
Before leaving for vacation last week, I checked the numbers and water level. Ph was 5.8 and Ppm was around where it was when I updated for week 3. I also added a nice shot of silicablast to each before leaving. Came back on Saturday to see significant growth from both ladies. The ph in both were up to around the 6ish range so we adjusted them back down. Also had a blue dream we chopped that was left on autopilot as well. Everything turned out fine and blue was trimmed, and put into the autocure bucket on Monday. We don't really have anyone to check on things while we're gone so we have to time our grows out, or leave it to chance nothing goes completely FUBAR.

Bubblegum:
Is getting bigger and stronger now. Her stem looks like it's getting thicker. The chopstick is still there but the ties have been taken away. Overall she's looking pretty happy. There was what looked like a little nute burn when she was younger, that has since subsided. Ppm is higher than her sister's but she hasn't really skipped a beat.

Ph: 5.9
Ppm: 433
Res temp: 73°F

Blackberry soda:
Looking good and has been easy going. She may be the shorter out of the two but she's got the most and longest roots I've seen between them. Her and her sister's water levels are maintaining quite nicely and I haven't had to add anymore water in them lately. I'm sure that will change when they both get bigger.

Ph: 5.9
Ppm: 223
