Two turtle doves
I must say, never have I sniffed a bud so pleasant. I cannot describe it. It is like - comforting.
It smells heavenly, like the stacks of pie crust my daughter leaves me after she finishes the lemon meringue.
Cozy, like rolling out a sheet of icebox cookies.
Familiar , like the ozone smell coming out of the back of the electric mixer, as we splash cake batter around the kitchen.
This time Dad gets to lick the spatula.

We drove into a prairie white-out on Xms eve.
We gained some elevation, just in time to see the sun set.
Was a beautiful thing.
Came home, drank the nog, and cut down the rest of the plants.
Was a Xmas massacre.
Got a 'lil sticky. Stopped taking pictures.
This was a sucker, what a fine mess.
Last one fell tonight. She had some snappy-go-slappy, fore and back-hand the other day.
I asked her why she wouldn't finish up and she did not answer me, we managed to work out a compromise. She timbered.
Skeleton Cookies. Fourth and final on the block.
Looking lonely in there.
Now I need to shovel out that corner, and empty the veg room.

Three tiers of goodness. They are climbing the walls. No room for this farmer. Red Mandrine took my thinking-spot on the floor and now has a pug face from getting slammed in the door. I had to back out the room to take photos.
House work and bleaching in the flower room later. Got to get that done -this is getting ridiculous.
My schedule has been hell lately. I am up early ,as the girls are out of school for xmas. I do dad stuff all day, and then go to work with my wife, until 2 am. I do chores in the veg room then I head out to the garage, run gas, and water everybody in the flower room. It is usually 4 a.m. before I get to bed.
Plants suffer. With the kids at home ,I cant open the vegging room during the day. Flower room runs opposite the sun; so my hands are tied all day.
Veg room dries out and burns up on the second day, when neglected.
I would be a punka$$bitch, to complain. Yet flowering actually GIVES me anxiety, from time to time. It is the invested hours, and the utility bills that plague my cognitive dysfunction.
Really, it is a gamble. I am betting that the power won't go out. I am betting that I won't be destroyed by powdery mildew. I am betting that I can produce better weed for a lower price. I know full well I can lose an entire crop @ any time.
Remember, cannabis is legal in my neighbourhood, and I have the dubious distinction of living in a town that may have the most dispensaries in Canada. I have six legal vendors within 4 blocks of my house. More than one store for every 10k people. Ontario is what?

On the prairies, winter is a nasty bitch and Summer is a killer.
@ some point, this weed will be easier to buy.
I got nothing to complain about.
Finally, I am done trimming. Much is jarred, still have wet True-dough, Skeleton and Cheese.
All is well. Just had my 13 year anniversary with my girl. We raised up my sons together and now have three daughters as well.
I got Tangies coming off every two weeks, from here till kingdom come.
Life is good.

These little plants are kinda cute, but that's about it. I don't plan on flowering under 3 Gal. after I clear these through.
Many of these are 2L and one gallons.
I will stick to the milk crates from now on.

Does increased humidity lengthen flower time ?
Since the hydro finished up, the room has dropped to below 40 RH.
I got cloud everywhere @ 53 days.
Cheese, Ma-Indica, and the runt are done quick, showing touches of amber.
True-Dough and even the Skeletons are clouded up. I have one Skeleton turning red-haired - I saw that @ 66 days last time, and it was done within near'a week later.
Not complaining -I thought it would be another week before the chill and flush. However, I have been giving cold nights to a few of them already.

My wife asked me if I really needed seven jars of weed on the coffee table. I assured her it was important, I needed to mix things up, to avoid building up a tolerance.
I have been busy carting plants out of the house, and into the flower room in the detached garage.
I am falling in love with a plant that I have not sampled yet.
Backstory:
When Jimi, from Raggae seed, got his first whiff of Diesel, he fell in love. He grew out a pack of Soma Seed NYDiesel. Jimi crossed one with his Reina Madre,,,testing came back @ 9% CBD.
Born was Juanita la Lagrimosa
Philosopher seed collaborate with Regae Seed to produce the "Golo" line.
Nico Escondido gave up a Guyaba cut (chem X afghani X chem91) and it was crossed to the Lagromosa,,,Guava Berry Kush
( why does everything have to be kush these days?)

By the time I got this thing outside my hands stunk, my arms stunk, my shirt stunk. Bitter Repugnant ,sharp, fuel'y Bliss.
Has not even started to flower, and was stinking up the house.
Love it.
I also have a 'Fruity Jack' heading into flower.
TGA Subcool's "Jack the Ripper" with a dash of Lagrimosa and Cannalope Haze.
Flower room is sterile'd and filling !

Thanks @GOMM , I was trying to capture the calyx. They are swelling up like turtle heads,
and so early ! These ones did get more CO2 than the last round. All are consistently, a full week ahead.
Which may be a good thing, as I had a hell of a time getting some of these new ones up, and out the cellar. Got a few 3 footers, and most over two. Lotsa big boys this round. I made the mistake of carrying a 4 gallon out that was saturated from watering, damn near pinched my back.
Only a couple 2L, mostly 3 Gallon, and a handfull of 1gallon. No more dinky plants!
It is a big room and I should fill it.
It is just a bramble right now. They are after their first night in the dark , moving out from 24/7 Veg. Phototropism hasn't kicked in yet, leaves are all over the map.
Back left is Grapefruit Diesel (looks like donkey, walks like donkey,,,), whatever appears right of that looks to be a splendid bouquet in the making.

I am relatively new @ this, although I have, in the past, waited two weeks for a flowering plant to show sex.
This plant came from 24/7 veg yesterday.
12 hours dark for the first time today.
After 2 hours of light I see this.
I got pistils popp'n. It is not alone. I understand pre-flowers on more mature nodes, yet,
even the uppermost growth tip on this plant is leading hairy.
Not sure how common that is, I will take it as a good sign.
This plant came from 24/7 veg yesterday.
