Adjustable Scrog V1

So this grow I wanted to try scrog. I'm picky and I like to come up with ideas and build my own stuff. I wanted to build a scrog net that is strong, adjustable and rolls up when not needed. Due to local stores not having the net size I needed I am building it full frame this time, hence V1. When I find the material I will update with a V2 that will work like in this pictureScreenshot_20200401-231923_Samsung Notes.jpg
I went on menards website and found some broom and mop holders that have screw hole where I need it and gripping fingers. These push in and fit my tent poles perfectly.20200405_101104.jpg

I used 1\2" pvc pipe and elbows, pre drilled hole and hand screwed in just below the line as you can see in pic.

I picked up some pipe cutters to make shit easier too.20200405_095344.jpg
It came together pretty quick like 30 mins for both frames and installed.

From here I plan on using some small tapered head screws, pre drilling holes, inserting the clothes line in the hole and tighten down. This stuff has what looks and feels like bicycle brake lines as the core and a soft green outer.20200405_095400.jpg

Stopping for now and will update post when it's all together then test it out during this competition.

I had the same idea a while ago. I have not used it yet! Mines a little different design than yours.

I just drilled holes in the corner pieces and put the poles through them. The cross members have screws every 4” and I could string a height adjustable grid when and if needed.

Great idea, I can see that being useful for other things too. Attach and go!
