Ace Seeds - Purple Zamal x A5 Haze fems

Growing this hybrid from "Ace Seeds" in their "research and development" aka testers section of their catalog, These are feminised.

It's a hybrid between 2 heavily sativa leaning varieties. I want to select for the most cokainr like effects as I heard they're exceptional on the Purple Zamal fermented cobs.

I have my own hybrid f2 I am currently growing alongside these and I plan to produce seeds using a few phenotypes.

18/18 seeds germinated and are sexed female(no intersex thus far). Mid may I startednthese and they're moving outdoors today after cloning, as I've heard they are prone to intersex indoors but not so much outside.

2 strawberry smelling zamal dominant phenotypes I want to breed with.

2 orange smelling haze dominant phenotypes I have the perfect males tontest on.

2 green mango/carrot that appear to be heavily Zamal influenced, I have some males to match this.

A few others but so far there's good variation.

Thanks, I find opportunity to succeed always increases when you grow more than a few, not that you can't get lucky. I'm very optimistic about these finishing by mid October and getting a show of which phenotypes purple up.

Rain is going to hit hard again this week, so every bit of sun helps.
I've got about a week Before these are rooted and then I can transplant into the ground.

Those are roughly 2 gallons. At 2 gallons I can safely assume the root system can be transplanted into the ground and succeed with minor stress when flowering. When ready l bind the base of the stem with copper wire to prevent slugs from climbing, then line the topsoil with perlite and diatomaceous earth to fight fungus gnats/thrips and further deter slugs.

I have noticed, the smaller plants are developing their root systems first and are not very stretchy, this may be a NL#5 trait from the A5 Haze, or it's from the Zamal as well as the NL#5, as I see it on the zamal plants less prone to stretching if roots can be grown.

I decided to transfer these into 4-7 gallon pots instead of immediately moving into the ground, I expect by september it will be chilly enough to then transplant them into the ground for good, for now it's our rainy season and I want the roots to breath/drain before putting them in the ground as i live in a bog/swampy area.

Since transferring they've responded well, they're stretching even more, so it seems like re-potting is definitely necessary for prevention of auto-flowering and stunting the more easily stressed plants.

The plant in the blue pot is the "Strawberry" phenotype, sweet strawberry smells emanating from this one

I'm intend to pollenate this plant very soon, and there's a whole group of potential males whom i can chose from, one of which I believe has "Semi-autoflowering" traits too, just like the "purple zamal" phenotypes. I want a "semi-autoflowering" set of offspring so that I can finish plants outdoors in new york with Zero Issues, it doesn't hurt that it's a phenotype I really like, and all the signs show it's a damn good male.

This plant, #16 is the most "Purple Zamal" of the group. Smells of sweet carrots.

I will be using this phenotype to make seeds in the near future.

I've got two weeks of tolerable weather left before harvest. Down to 13 potential mothers. 6 of 18 are showing colors from the purple zamal and cold temps.
