3x3 grow tent options w/ LED

Hey fellas just kicking around the idea 💡 of running a 3x3 with a spider farmer sf-4000. I come from running 1k’s in a 4x4 so this LED shit is new. From what I see the light is about perfect for a 3x3. Not buying the 5x5 footprint for flowering. More is better in my opinion. So any input would be helpful. I will even take other light suggestions. Thanks

The current concerns I have are as fallow.

Anyone make a better light at the price or a bit more or less?

Heat issues or any other issues I should be concerned about? I have a controllable in line six collecting dust, thinking that should do the trick.

I run in coco 3 gallon pots, hand water to about 10/20% runoff. Think that’s about it.

Thanks 🙏 for any insight to this world of LED’s.

Damn for 450? I was having a hard getting near that price with the lm516cs in a build.

Thanks 🙏 everyone for the info. Very helpful leaning towards the sf-4000 but very much considering building a DIY light also.
If you build the light you'll save money. And from what I have seen the spiderfarmer stuff it's just like the HLG stuff. Price would be the decider there.

I think my issue with the SF lights is his decision on nomeclature. The SF-4000... 4000 what? At least the chinese blurples use the combined LED total for a number even if it's not the wattage the light puts out. Might just be me but that seemed fishy to me ever since they started showing up on Amazon.

Growdaddy or hlg hands down. With the prices right now itd be a bad choice to go anywhere else imo. Qb120s or a lm516c strip build will put you where you want to be for the best price

Qb120s might still be on sale. Peep em and the hlg 320s c1400s are on chillled are on sale. You can do 12 boards and 2 320 drivers for pretty damn cheap
Good option for those nice call... Not sure if they still got the qb120's anymore but another cheap option for 12- qb120's wood be to get 3
Lrs-350-24 drivers. 1 driver per 4 qb120 boards.
My setup is the 4 -qb132s with lrs-350-36 driver.
Just thought id share another option and my 2 cents✌

I always go hlg series with the drivers. Well unless it's a small driver. Some singles like 20 60 watts etc.. Over time they will buy themselves with efficiency. Not to mention the sex appeal. But the lrs savings are real no doubt.
