RW can also be over wet and prevent normal root growth rot sets in. Water sparingly till the plant is using that water. For cloning i would soak with phed water and calmag then spin that water out in a veggy spinner. Water after with a 1 milll dropper.

Just flood more often. Easier to sterilize, no porosity. I’ll be watching how it goes.

Id say it’s high. If your worried once they dry out water till run off give a good flush.

They look like they are recovering nicely.

Oh and In promix most let it dry to almost to wilt. If your running a hot nute shedual the ppm will spike as the media drys out causing burnt roots. I’ve done some runoff tests and it does get way higher if your over fertilizing. Just something to think about.

The plants that showed spotting may have just had transplant shock. Especially if you went from water cloning to dirt. They have to basically make new roots suited to dirt not water media. 450 ppm should have been fine with the calmag. That’s about what I run for veg. Would be better to...

I use a cheep lux meter. 7000 cutings and seedlings. 10-20k veg. 50+ish k for flower. I can run strips almost touchig if i keep at the lux in check. To adjust a light by eye is almost impossible. I think this only works if you have white led not burpls.
