Yes i use it as a fungus nat barrier. Plants were started indoors. Probly not necessary in the GH but its on and reflects a bit of light. Another cheep barrier is the flat sheet of polly. I think i bought it as painters cover. I have it over a 7 gal pot water goes through nice but the nats cant...

Ya they are but the wifi connection and monitoring from afar is tantalizing. Could prevent grow issues like overheating etc. The one uses this chart, it’s actually pretty handy to just enter your variables and see where you are.
