So Dec 18 my wife died 3 years ago. Dont be sad and shit. Its ok im ok its all ok.
December kind of sucks as a month for me. Except after that day i flip the switch. Time to get Christmas on. For the last 2 years.
Then i met a lady, fell in love, bought a house, got married, had a grow room i didnt even comprehend and..I have a fucking POOL !~ My body is being a bitch but i found out they have a prescription for that and it involves cannabis. So i can make 100mg per gummy...gummies...I am a mad fucking scientist of edibles.
So the seeds winning the seeds that was really great. I thought i wasn't even close. I kind of figured that regardless Heisen had my back.
I thought how far can you push coconut oil to saturation. Because you know what...the damned ardent people need to test more they are not right. Test it a lot more than 1 time.
I sure do...
To be a master takes 1000 times. I have not grown that many plants but i have made that many gummies.

So this year was the first year it tugged a bit like that but i went through totes of pictures and laughed and enjoyed the memory.
And then the next day the seed thing happened. So the timing was pretty fucking great.
So i am getting my Christmas on. Please help me guys...beat that drum for the photo of the month. I will add a 3rd random prize. Another pack of seeds.
2019 was the best year of my life in a really really long time.

Big ups to you @gwheels. Glad you have it all sorted out and are on a good trajectory.
I stuggle with it all...daily. The holidays just magnify all that was...and now...isn't. My oldest would likely have popped out a few grandkids by now had he lived....or at least we'd still be whole as a family and maybe feel like there's some "Merry" in the whole fuckin debacle and a >reason< to celebrate. As it is...nah...no thanks. Can't do it better so we just don't do it at all. What is...is. I can't pretend. It just doesn't work. We tried the first Christmas to be "normal"...tree...gifts...etc. We all just kinda sat there.....between what was and what is...in a huge fog. We haven't got the decorations out/set up a tree since.
Definitely a tough(er) time of the year. Ying/yang at play heavily, for sure. Tighten the belt...ride the ride....

Always been one of my favorite artists. Even at his age WOW. All my kids are grown so christmas is kind of quite. I did all my shopping yesterday. These days i buy packages for dog rescues. Each one i give to gets a big supply of bleach and terry cloth towels and a big box of milkbones. Wish i could give them all homes for Christmas.

Spent too much money on all sorts of shit for a bathroom remodel we are doing. Cha ching cha ching. It is what it is though. If you've remodeled anything lately you know what I'm sayin'. Ouch. I saw on the box that the old Delta slogan has changed from "Delta is ready when you are" to a newer version that says "Delta is ready to fuck your a$$ hard". And yeah...why is it that the phrase "Lifetime Warranty" somehow seems to carry oh so much less weight these days? Fuck me....so I shoulda bought this shit 40 years ago...huh? You young uns take note...ya hear? A few grand spent now and you'll be shittin and showerin for life.....

Its kind of like pipes....good copper pipe lasts 60 to 100 years.
Cheap copper pipe will burst after 25 and its a slot machine of damage. Don't buy cheap copper pipe.
I am going to practice my pex connections and fix everything myself from now on....i have turned into...my DAD !....
It used to bother me now im ok with it. He is a pretty stand up guy lol

I'm treating myself on this one. I've learned/figured out/fucked up/done well doing pretty much everything myself over the years. After I had to put a Contractor in jail for stealing 70K of my cash back when 70K of cash was a shit ton of my "wealth"...I leaned that even if I have to put it in and tear it out multiple times to get it right...,I can still do that and buy all of the needed tools for far cheaper than hiring it out. And it's RIGHT when I'm done. LOL. I do good work...it just takes me forever sometimes.
But this one...well..had the Master Builder here build the structure...am hiring a plumber to re-plumb my entire plumbing system (which is infinitely small...will fit in an 8 x 8 area) including a new hot water heater (I could do it...but...nah...)...and found a really reputable tile guy to slap up tile. I'll still get fucked into doing a buncha stuff....cus i always do....but the majority of it is a "write the fuckin check, honey" kinda gig. Can't take it with ya.....and I'm finally getting a bit smarter.....OK...maybe not.....
Next up is the kitchen..... so...ummm........definitely not.

took out the 3 piggy moms and watered then and rewatered cause it wasn't sufficient after checking the roots. let the clones/cuts get some attention and i turned on a fan to give them some nice air circulation and make then work for a bit lol. going to stick a disappointment and hope the root nubs will like the soil she goes in.
will put a fresh rooted cone in a cup and i've been waiting for another of these clones to be ready so i can have insurance to keep them. only one bigger mom of those. so the small girls will be future moms when the show starts.
will also reup on water that's already ready to be closer to the plants.

Couple pics of the moms after being cut back to limit height. So, have to check computer cause they’re not in the phone anymore. so that's a before and after.
i put the cut branches or leftovers in the fridge. so speaking of doing shit today. might as well check those and strip some to put in some rinsed out drink containers labels on to block light. my tap water has proven to be pretty good so i'll stick with that and i off gas 24/48 hrs min and sometimes filter via new red filter = brita knockoff but far cheaper. new red ones cose 20$ for a 4 pack i think. but filter out over 40 plus water nasties ...

I invested in a wirsbo setup, the pex you use the expansion tool with, I really like it. Best thing I did was buy a big assortment of fittings. Comes in handy. I re plumbed my house with it. I bought one of those crimp tools as well. Used it to PEX the plumbing system and add a new 11 gal hot water heater to my Vintage camper. Had intentions of tackling the plumbing in the house myself but The Master Builder hooked me up with his plumber guy so hey....I'll let him fuck with it. It's a real jewel. My guess is that...much like your place @Punisher84 ....the copper froze/broke and whoever "fixed" it had no clue how to sweat copper pipe and used a variety of pvc pipe....some of which is scary looking shit. There's also some PEX mixed in w/ sharkbite fittings so I don't know if it was all done @ once or it was a series of "fixes". Either way...when the plumber saw it he was taken back and said he needed a picture it was such a mess.... LOL. I'm amazed that they got all of it under the bathroom sink....and that it works/hasn't shot the shit yet on us.
This is under my kitchen sink. It's "Hot-n-Cold" pipe.....like 1/2" OD....we think they once used it in mobile homes....but either way....scary and not to code....For sure! In the back left there is my under the counter 30 gal hot water heater. So old I couldn't find a listing anywhere for the model #/etc. Uses more electricity annually...to heat, poorly, 30 gals.... as the new, more efficient heater one takes to heat 50 gallons. Notice the wire holding up the sink drain fitting. LOL. I put a new sink in last year but had to just run with this mess cus I knew we were going to gut everything at some point soon. And that linoleum. the old guys will remember Avacado Green, Harvest Gold, Orange/etc mid-late 70's appliance colors that this lino matches perefectly.
Under the bathroom vanity. This is basically my entire plumbing system. Everything crammed into a 2 ft wide....6 inch deep space. Well electric/pressure switch....main drain w/washer drain heading back into wall....cold water manifold/feeds. Kitchen sink in the picture above is 4 ft to the left.....bathtub is just to the right. Washer feed is behind the wall. Just a crazy mess of shit. Fuckin Podunk!
