Super Cropping during Flower?

You can super crop at just about any point in flowering. That is not the same as topping witch should be done in veg only. The branches that you super crop will straiten right back out unless you tie them down. Another thing you can do is tie down your main cola down to almost a horizontal position and at that point if you keep it tied down the shorter side branches will take off. That is probably the least stressful way of training. I do a lot of super cropping really helps trying to even out the canopy. Your first time doing it just take your time squeezing the stalk until you have crushed all of the cells and it will just flop over.

geez that is a lot of abuse. I hope they will forgive me. Btw got rid of front right plant as it was clearly male. If I transplant the front left (female) into a 10 gallon canvas (next 24 hours), will I be able to fit 3 - 10 gallons under that light?

my other option is to rig up a 2nd light (600W) burple and have it solely for the 3rd female.

If it were me i would leave them in the containers you have them in now. They look plenty big. A lot would depend on how many actual watts each light is. Again if it were me i would hang both of them. While i have you on the line i have another question for you. I noticed there are no runoff saucers under your pots. How are you watering ?

Back 2 are in 10 gallon. Front left female is in 3 gallon and needs transplant. I’ve only had runoff in the 3 gallons and do have a cat liter box under one of them, but there has been little to no runoff.

The three gal will be fine. Those 10 gal containers are going to require a lot of water. It is VERY important to have a good 20% runoff in your soil containers when you irrigate and then give it a chance to dry up some. Three gal pots can usually go three days before rewatering and much longer on the 10 gal pots.

I like @Capt C 's answer.
Why do u wanna super crop? Is it in order to break the dominace from the main cola and have the lowers make a more even canopy?
I use fabric pots also. If ya wanna spread em out try lst.
I cut steel wire on a 45 degree angle and bend it into a hook, stick it through the pot.
The other side I leave a little long in order to give thw plant plenty of time to go where I am pulling it without , snap, ya oh well it Will happen.
Check out the manifold uniformity on these I just harvested. If ya top it early using nebula hazes methods described on growweedeasy.com you will kick ass.
They look good though! Praying and all. Here comes the stretch. If They get too close to the ligbt give er a lil pinch in early flower usually. Ime. Cheers , Ty

My last dry was the first time i have hung them whole like that. I was trying to gain some hang time and not really sure i gained any but discovered it is a hell of site easier doing it this way.
Oh for sure. I have had too much hang time with this method coped with high summer humidity and wham I lost a couple quarter ounce head nugs. I wanted to cry. Many methods of cure. But tbe early topping in veg at the rught node count 3-5 will cause little stress and add MANY more bud sites.
Oh and good airflow to the lowers is good too!
