PICK YOUR OWN
My light dep experiment. This Nigerian Sunshine is getting close, trichs are clouding up & the smell has shifted.

I stayed pretty close to 12/12 throwing in the shed every evening. I forgot a couple times & was late but it did not seem to mind.

I've been seeing a lot light dep talk lately, had a dream I was running light dep last night, lol.

I probably have a third left...maybe more. I'd have to check.

Yes...sprayed all over them bitches......top to bottom.....at first sign of rot....or if it sets up that we're gonna have multiple days of cloudy/rainy/high humidity type weather. It has an odor but it doesn't hang about.

I originally bought it because 2 of my 8 65 gallon pots a few years back appeared to be suffering from stem rot. The noob in me was watering too close to the stem/flooding too hard is my guess....but I researched what I could do and while it didn't save those 2 plants (too far gone and went fast)....nobody else fell prey.

Certainly, IMO...worth a go if you can afford it. I mean...even with no market....the cost of BUYING weed still has to figure into the equation....and a quart would show you if it's worthy for your use or not.

And WOW....nice buds...and good work on the hauling em in and back out again gig... that's dedication right there....
Thanks for the input, shared experiences is what it is all about. What kind of residue did it leave on the plant? That is always my concern in flower.

Your plants are a lot bigger than mine & you still have a third left..might not be as costly as it seems. Doubt I will buy it but really good to know. Fakespot gave the company a grade of F, don't see that often.

Did you do a root drench too or just the spray?

That light dep was only a 3 gal pot so pretty easy to move. It started flowering so dang early that it was the only solution I could think of, I was afraid it would get weird after the summer solstice so thought I would experiment. It was a fun experiment & came out better than I thought, but won't be a huge yield. It could be a nice summer smoke.

Finally the sun is starting to make appearances here on the coast. Still gloomy mornings but I sure am glad to see the sun. I’ll be tired of it in a few days but for now I am pleased.

A few chems from the master, @Schwaggy P are rapidly outgrowing their 2 gal pots. some are in the easy transplant velcro Geopots. I will need to move them to bigger pots soon.

Rumours are that seeds from the schwaggy professor may be available for purchase in the near future. Good news, he is meticulous. There is some fire there. 🔥:p

Thanks for the kind words @Baja.Beaches! Some look like you copy/pasted them a few times in that picture 😀. They take the topping very well. I'm eager to see how they perform outdoors.
They did respond well to being topped. I think it made more of a difference on the Brewster X which had a slightly more vertical structure. After topping the leaves & structure of both strains are now very similar, almost like a single worked strain, although I can still see the differences.

I am transplanting to bigger pots today, I will post a couple strain close ups on your thread soon.

I wanted more air flow in the garden area. Nice thing about the plants being in pots is I can rearrange things.

My wife had a potted palm just outside my computer room, literally just a few feet from where I am typing. She even had a dripper to the palm. Bonus. My Banana Kush got promoted, I moved the palm out. My wife took it well. I am lucky.

I can’t walk past it without stopping to check it tho & I walk past it a lot. Buds are starting to develop nicely.

It is getting pretty fun with the garden in flower. Outdoor crop will be extra early this year.

One of my chucks, I had a SSDD x Blueberry Hashplant male that I liked, I hit a Lemon Banana Sherbet with it. Pure banana smell & pretty strong, those colas are big. This should be a fun one.

Then there are my Apollo 11 F4s from @Useful. I was out of town & missed the topping window on these, I would have liked to have topped them. They had a hard start & did not take rain & wind well. Pretty much flattened them, my expectations were low.

Long sativas can get out of control so I kept them in 5 gal pots. This pheno is now 8 ft tall in a 5 gal pot but also really wide towards the bottom. Wonder what would have happened if they were topped & in a larger pot….

Stems are floppy, hard to tell but they are in large square tomato cages or they could not support themselves.

A bit finicky but I sure look foward to them! :p

This weird weather year definitely released some kind of hormones that are making for a super early year. Some years I get one or 2 early but in over 30 years in the same spot I have never had the whole crop flower so early.

Most were planted Mid-March, around the Spring equinox. I got them going then left on a trip that we ended up extending for a month. I expected to have to start over but they did surprisingly well in spit of terrible weather. Last year I started at the same time but they were way behind this.

I tend to pop seeds year round just to see what happens, some work better than others but it is fun to see what happens, not like I need the smoke I enjoy the grow & overdo it as usual.

Still wish I had the kind of space you have!

Not the greatest pic, Not really room for a good shot but I am trying to show the flower color of this Star Pupil. Very purple buds.

Extra pungent, unfortunately the budworms love it. I am pretty good at spotting worms right away, but they are hard to spot in the purple. Budworms are choosy, they mainly like the dank only, they are leaving my Banana crosses alone. Spraying with BT this week.

It has been one of the mildest summers ever here, after the super wet winter PM is still an issue too but I will take the coolness any day, especially after the brutal heat last summer.

I have already harvested 2 outdoor girls, earliest ever.

This Banana Kush checked all the boxes for me as far as an outdoor grow. vigorous, packing on the frost but the smell was not really there until the last couple days. Now I smell Banana. It is the year of the banana for me, last year was lemon. I have 2 Lemon Banana Sherbets going that have been way more banana smell, but this one is finally catching up.

Yield should be good, budworms don’t really like it. Can’t wait to sample the smoke, I will definitely be running this one again.

Cool lookin buds. Can't say I've ever grown anything that purp.

MMmmm...banana. Amazing how early your finish is. Just getting going good here...LOL.

Hope the worms stay at bay....
That purple surprised me too, that pic really does not do it justice. She is an eye catcher & love the smell, but so do the budworms.

I can’t get over how early the garden is this year either, or how mild & cool this summer has been here. A high of 73 expected today. I am not complaining tho. Looking through my notes & pics from past years, I am usually just getting going mid-August, not finishing.

How far along are you?

Check how dang green this Double Dipped Strawberry is. At this stage of flower it is a surprise, leaves should be yellowing.

This plant had been fading big time, starting to yellow & droop, I suspected something wrong root wise. Nice thing about using pots, I decided to pull it out of the pot & check the roots. Aha moment, there was a spot of mold on the roots, holdover from the wet winter? Anyway I shaved the roots & repotted it with some fresh soil & wow, did it respond.

It is a deceiving shot, I am standing on a ladder here.

Wow. Nice.

Everything here is flowering....but at slightly different stages. Fuzzy Pie is starting to pack it on.....while Beach Wedding is just now figuring things out (and stretching too much for my tastes..but it is what it is) Overall...I'm at about that 20 day look with indoor.....dime'ish size buds.....lots of stacking... everybody is huge. Will update soon. Just been uber-busy with all sorts of construction shit....at my neighbors house. Haven't got to my projects yet...LOL. Story of my life...LOL.

A super early year in my backyard. I have already harvested most of the March plantings except the long season sativas, including this Apollo 11. This is the other pheno, still another week or so I am thinking, a solid 8 ft, this one smells great.

The late Chems started in late June are flowering nicely & taller than they appear, but dwarfed by the Apollo 11.

I can’t remember harvesting this many this early ever. Lots of trimming starts early.
