reviveing old seeds to germ with GA3 gabrillec acid

Appreciate the knowledge. I recently got some fems from Mass Medical who promotes growing all naturally and what not.. so I'd assume they use ga3 and their fems looked bigger and healthier than any other fems I have but for all I know that's strain dependent. I definitely would like to know if ga3 produces a better fem seed now but I'll stick with the STS for sure, cheap and effective. Never even knew ga3 was used the way @Hogbackmagic is using it

That's why I am posting it here I am learning still and I have been growing for years
and want to post what I tried and may help other people in the boat
i am scuffing some seeds tonight and mix up some GA3 and peroxide mix
goin to sterilize seeds first before soaking them and take notes

HELLO Eevryone hope all is well in the grow rooms

I do have some positive news I have noticed 2 days in paper towel
I have a few seeds trying to pop so I change paper towel to a new fresh one
no not used I put 1ml of KLN IN ONE 8OZ CUP OF TAPWATER
mixed up and wet new paper towel and placed in to a new bag as well
just so you guys know my typing skills are fuckin madd haha
I am using my reg camera to try to get better pictures of progress
I didn't have time to start any more yet but it is on the to do list

not like they should have its one of them travel pill cases that screw on
purple in color I did find the date on case said September 05 2009
so close to 10 years
I did store them in my brief case in a cool and dark place I moved around a lot
and could not keep them going now I have my own house and more time
since mom and pops passed I was in a funk since last november
watched my mom pass away and a year before that lost another brother
so this hobby is keeping me focused on bigger better things
always was a gorilla grower when i was a young pup
back then the genetics was way better and more stable just my 2 cents

Im glad to hear you are moving forward and remaining focused! Thats all anyone can really do.
Im thinking Im gonna pick up some GA3 for these old beans I got here. I have some that were stored better than others, but all were stored "relatively" well. I'd love to get a taste of the early 90's again in some of these beans I got. If I were to find something good, I'd love even more to share it.

@HydroRed here is a picture of what I had them stored in I didn't plan
on havin them in here for this long. on lunch break figured I would give an idea of the container
I do have something in the works as far as a tool to poke through hard seeds its simple
and anyone will be able to make one just need the time to slap it together and see if it will
help with germing seeds

you know whats weird my brother O.D on smack it stared out with prescription pills
then he got hooked and moved on to be a junkie he was my partner in crime as well
we was a year and a half apart he passed on valentines day 2017
that's a pure mind fuck seeing your bro for the last time like that

Hi all I put 10 seeds in freezer for 5 hours moved them to the fridge I am leaveing
them in there till morning then I will start a different way to get these to pop
these I am going to scuff with sand paper soak in peroxide water for
4 hours then on to GA3 for 12 hours to start that's my plan Stan
as far as temp goes its what ever my direct tv receiver so like setting on a router or something

another update
still look the same a little whit tissue that wants to poke out
I went to the local garden center and picked up some super thrive
I think I want to try this next batch and later today I will
change paper towel that these are in and use the super thrive
to see if any changes with this the old timers swear by this stuff
was a bit pricey 14.99 for 4 fluid oz plus the governors cut
if this shit works will be money well spent

well today trashed them beans on to the next batch
these next one been in fridge for a few days so i will sok these in peroxide
first then soak in GA3 after i scuff them up with sand paper
i also have some dip n gro that may help softning the seed shell
so it will be 2 diffrent methods and will log with updates when
any info as i go

hi everyone
I have had some luck with my old cherry berry female seeds 9 yrs old
out of 20 3 poped tales just got home tonight I am going to mix up some promix
and worm castings I didn't want to put them in dirt till I got more
worm castings I will post pictures and details later on tonight

hi peeps I had 2 more C.B.O females pop tales 9 yrs old seeds
I didn't use GA3 on these u scuff these with 400grit sand paper
and soaked the in peroxide water for 24hrs I used about 4mls of peroxide to about 12oz of water

2.put in paper towels with wet down with peroxide water after 2days I swapped out with fresh paper towel with
plain tap water for paper towel put back in fresh ziplock bag and let it set for a few more days
and noticed a couple tales popping this is time consuming and need to be patient
these seeds have been sleeping for years today 6 days later to my surprise there was 2 more sprouts
and they even popped the shell off I do want to note with the GA3 to be fair its hard to get that stuff
to desolve so I am thinking if these peter out I will try putting seeds in paper towel with GA3
water to moistin the paper towel to maybe give it a extra boost I am still working on the blue gods

You may have already answered this, but are you using a heat mat once the seeds are in moist paper towels?
