The Schwartz is starting to take up more of the mother's traits, coconut creme pheno I just sniffed shares the mother's coconut oil/macaroon smells.

Meanwhile, the 'Star Platinum' plants are looking almost ready for transfer and topping in another week. IMG_20250126_195023588.jpg

This f2 'Steph Nuggz' mother plant will soon be pollinated with a male from the "Purple Flurp" "Soda" line (Querkle x Steph Nuggz') a cousin to "The Schwartz"

He's been waiting patiently to start.

'Chocolate Lime' phenotype.

Star Platinum(Peace Train x Steph Nuggz f2) showing a mix of the Pinot Noir/Cuvee and the "Moonshadow" -Mendo Haze from 'Peace Train'(Moonshadow x Jack The Ripper).

if this is a male, it's a winner, I can almost guarantee it. Slightly faster growth than average. More node length, it could just be haze dominant.

Nicknamed this one 333, it's a tough One, I'm seeing if it can regrow from a nub, if it can then it will be added to the garden.
Similar phenotype to my 2nd favorite.

I've run into similar issues before when working with older genetics. If you're seeing slow growth or weak seedlings, it might be worth checking environmental factors and making sure your soil mix isn't too hot.

I once had stunted seedlings due to overwatering, and adjusting my routine made a big difference. You might find https://fastbuds.com/news/common-cannabis-seedling-problems-and-how-to-fix-them useful—it covers common problems and fixes that could help.

Hey bud, hope you're doing well. Was wondering what the high was like on the spice/curry plant?

I just started germinating another set of old TGA/Norstar seeds for parental selection. Let's see how things go 🤞

6 "Alchemy" (Chem D x Querkle)
16 "UVA" (Oaxaca Gold x Querkle)
14 "Pina Rita" ( Oaxaca Gold x SpaceQueen)
15+ Qleaner (Jack's Cleaner x Querkle)
.

Looking to get more vigorous Querkle genetics. The "coconut Velvet" purple pheno I used sadly, didn't pass on what I wanted in traits, I think the "coconut Velvet" line is too "Urkel" dominated and smells similar to blueberries and vomit and dog shit, acceptable resin development but size and vigor are lacking for an f1/polyhybrid.

I know the 'Grape Soda' pheno of Querkle, it's offspring are a different story, very synergistic and and potent chemotypes are common. The smells are much more odorous, the rum and caramel, passion fruit, black berry (unripe funky) smells from the Cuvee shine through, the Grape Soda, not as strongly, though a few do exhibit these Urkel expressions, the "Mango Carrot Soda" male passed on just enough influence from the sativa side, recessive Golden Tiger phenotypes appear as the rotten mango smells of the golden tiger(Thai x Malawi) like the swamp gas, sewage fume funk. Putrescine smells.
I will grow another 50 of these within the next week, I plan to grow many of these outdoors and select them based on their performance.
