Why are you spraying Microbe lift on a plant? It's a soil drench/conditioner.

The sugur is to feed the bacteria, it's a biological agent, it's gonna take over the flora of your soil. If you go without sugar it will still work, just not at the same degree rate because the sugar also attracts the insects to feed. On the bacterially active water(sweetened).


You should read instructions before use. This stuff isn't for a sprayer.

Interesting about the sugar. I use microbe lift but haven't used the sugar yet. The stuff is very potent. You only need a few drops in the water. Unfortunately a lot of people just dump that crap in LOL. I've kind of backed off on using it lately because it seems as though the fungus gnats larva have gotten used to it over time.

Totally agree about the directions. So many many people are misusing that product.

I wouldn't worry about getting it on the leaves. Use this stuff myself hasn't burned my plants. It's very concentrated so you don't need much in the water. I only use a few drops for around 30 gallons. Make sure you drench the soil well. This will not get rid of the mature fungus gnats only their larvae and soft-bodied aphids.
