Biggest trick is that they stay moist-not-soggy. A fine-sifted peat-based mix labeled "seed starter" is usually all you need. It holds water but drains well - but it doesn't drain dry like coco. You have more room for error. The fine sift just means it can pack around the seed more snug with no air pockets.
Keep a mister of water handy. In whatever dome set-up you have and keep humidity near 100% is good until they pop. The more humid the less the chance the soil around the seed will dry out. You should be able to notice the top of the soil drying easily, and a few spritzes with a mister is all you need to wet the top.
After they pop they need air and you can start gradually (over a week or two) start opening vents or cracking lids or whatever shifting them to an open air environment to deal with life as a weed.

I use the cup-in-cup method, with a clear one inside to check roots. That clear one is split like a clam shell so at transplant I can open each side and make sure nothing is sticking before taking it out of the cup. I poke a 1/2" deep hole (that's the dowel from a King Palm wrap LOL) in the moist soil then use tweezers to drop the seeds.
I use a little paint brush to dip in the Rootwise Microbe Complete then sprinkle a bit over each hole. After I drop the seed in I pinch the hole shut then 10 squirts with the spray bottle to get it all set and wet.
The "stolen"cup-holder from the herb section of the big box hardware store sets in a propagator and keeps me from tipping them over. The fact that the cups are all watertight on the outside instead of like regular planters means I can keep a little puddle of water in the propagator for humidity without the plants soaking it up. and getting waterlogged.

Oh never said I had any issues I was sharing how I fix issues after changing my grow style. To help others if anyone had the same issues. I've been popping seeds in rapid rooters for two years now with success. when did I said I had issues or ask your crusty ass for help. your the one with the issues playboy!

You’ve been here for over a year and literally the second time you posted was for this contest. I scoped your IG, and your plants look nice, but they certainly aren’t anything out of this world.
And, yes, i was in bed, because I'm an adult with responsibilities who gets up by 5am everyday. I don’t still live off my parents and sleep until noon…I really don’t care if that makes me look uncool to you because I own my own place and have no debt.

I just don’t get why he thinks acting like a cunt is going to fly around here. He’s been here long enough to know how things are. The last contest we had went awesome because people didn’t stir up drama and everyone was just happy to see the different ways each of us handle our grows. If he continues to act like a cunt, I won’t ban him, I’ll just delete his cunty posts and will leave his competition photos up because that will piss him off even more than banning him. Nothing like a good ol game of whack-a-troll.
