Seeds are getting stuffed in Root Riots when I wake up. Let's roll, brothers.

This will be my first (mostly) nonexperimental grow in over a year. No funny business, just the basics.

- 6x3x36 rockwool slabs in Dutch leach trays. I plan to cut the rockwool package along the bottom and wrap it around the outside of the tray to create a dark, high humidity root zone.
- Hand watered drain to waste until I can buy a Growtek setup and automate. I may flood / flush them once a week just to make sure everything stays nice and even.
- Jack's 321 at full strength starting in mid veg.
- 1 HLG 650R, a bunch of old Spectrum King SK600s and a Spectrum King Mother's Little Helper for a funky corner of a 6x6 tent that gets poor lighting.

I decided to stagger my tents for the first time to make harvesting less stressful, and I'm also about a month behind schedule. So to catch up I'm going to run a high plant count of feminized seeds in one tent. Then a week or so after I transplant them I'll start another run of regular seeds. I'll sex those as @Heisenbeans recommended, and then put the females into the other tent when I'm ready to flower them. I'm not sure about the timing, but whatever. I'll eventually work it out. Once I get back to running clones it will be easier.

The first tent:
Cannarado - Gucci Links. I ran them during my current grow and they were pretty promising.
Cannarado - Gushers OG. I haven't run this yet, but I hear it tends to lean towards OG.
Cannarado x Compound Genetics - Bazookaz. I forgot I had these and the last run was fire. I kept two mothers and one made my top three frostiest plants list.

The second tent:
Chron Don Genetics - Fire Rider. I've been running this guys stuff because I was impressed by his growers before he started breeding.
Cannarado - Grumpz. This is my all time favorite Cannarado strain. I still have a few little nugs left from last winter. I lost their cuts along with everything else from that run. Luckily some dude on RUI traded me a pack.

That's all I can think of for now. More updates to come.

I always wanted to see somebody grow in some of those very affordable 6x3x36 rockwool slabs as I had a notion to try them as well.
Subbed and good luck on your grow larf! Oh, and you totally need to do a laser pointing bowling vid with Hut as that damn hoss could knock over 10 regular pins no problem! :ROFLMAO:

I haven’t tried using 6” slabs, but the Dutch leach trays are made for them. Grow Green Michigan sent me 8” slabs by mistake and have to resend the right ones yesterday.

One nice thing about staggering the tents is I'll have more space in my veg room. A problem that I often have is my plants get overgrown waiting to be put into the flowering tents. If this happens they can't grow laterally and start to support each other by an interwoven canopy. When I move them into the flowering tents, the stalks are weak and the plants aren't symmetrical. I leave them freestanding for a few days to adapt, and when I scrog them I end up with a labyrinth of long branches overlapping into different zones. When they are weak and stretched out they aren't a good base, and they also tend to twist over time and cause the colas to tilt from their upright position. So I have to use yoyos.

This will hopefully eliminate all of that.

I forgot to post this yesterday. 15 out of 15 isn’t bad. I decapitated one of them trying to get the helmet off. That’s the first time I’ve failed at doing so.

I soaked my 4” rockwool cubes overnight and will transplant this evening, and soon as they start showing roots I’ll transplant them to their slabs. I’m trying to speed along this grow as fast as possible. Tomorrow I’m going to take a bunch of clones to put into the other side of my 8x4. Once they root I’ll start my reg seeds for the other tent.

The ones farthest away are Gushers OG. The middle are Gucci Links, and the closest are Bazookaz.

I harvested my last plant yesterday. It was a wonky pheno that still had about a month to go even though it was already in flower for 3 months.

Today I'm going to clean and then move the seedlings over to the flowering tent since it will be unoccupied. It hasn't housed plants this small since I popped my first round of seeds. I'm looking at it as hitting factory reset on my grow.

I'll let my Blumats soak and clean them up tomorrow so that I can sell them. I'm also seriously considering investing in a relatively large moonshine still. That will probably become incorporated into this thread at some point.
