What happened at RIU to make so many of you jump ship? I don't use IG so I'm not up on the gossip and drama.

As for me, I haven't posted shit on RIU for months because two of the mods accused me of selling shit on the forums and then gave me the shakedown for advertising money. I've never sold a goddamn thing weed-related anywhere, so I told them to go fuck themselves. Haven't posted since that happened, but it sounds like I wasn't alone.

I was banned, along with a lot of ppl!


edit; I'm told I was banned bc I made multiple accouts, but I never made another account until they supposedly "slowed down" my account as a punishment and I had no idea they did that or was warned about anything! I just knew the site wasn't loading and they were banning ppl for nothing I assumed I was banned as well! as for why I was "punished" or "slowed down" idk? they won't tell me, basically it's bc I supported heisen and was relaying msgs for him, when they banned him! I guess, who knows who cares, FUCK RIU!!!

RIU had a good interface, good LED discussion and development back in the day, and some really cool and friendly people in the bodhi & chuckers threads. But they've always had a shitty rep because of a few Mods Gone Wild. Especially with the older crowd, those of us who started growing in the 90s and earlier.

I thought I was just crazy, but I'm glad to hear you say that cuz after they shook me down for advertising money, I suddenly couldn't send and receive PMs, the site wouldn't load or was extra slow, and my browser would just say "There was an unexpected error. Try again later." when other people could still login. Childish shit.

I thought I was a really weird target, since I don't hardly ever post anyway, and clearly never sell anything. It just seemed so fucking random. I'm sorry that shit happened to you. Thanks for telling me, tho. Glad to know it wasn't just me.

Thanks. It was Hotmail accounts too. I checked every folder and even logged in on my laptop but nothing from here.
I did find a nice email from a kind gent who claimed to of hacked my email and recorded me wanking and wanted some money or he was going to send it to all my contacts.. I thought that was a very nice offer from him.

That's happened to me lots of times, log in and instantly get logged out despite other people posting. I wasn't sure why, only thing I can think of as a reason would be posting links to diyleduk who used to advertise there.
Its the only thing it could be, I never had a bad word said to me or said from me to others. Not one argument in 8 years on there.
