Nah, I just use Kelp For Less Kelp Meal and their Fulvic and Humic Blend. I mix it into the Pro-Mix. You can add the fulvic humic at 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. I suppose you can mix the 5/2 ratio in water also.
I'm not promoting this guy, but go over and check out WOW plant nutrients. This guy has world record pumpkins. He has a start kit over there that added to the Pro-Mix, you're on your way to a beautiful harvest. Well at least the microbes will be happy if nothing else.

I been having great luck with pro mix. I do ph and handwater. I use megacrop, URB, kelp, and a pk booster and homeade epsom and molasses. I run it on the dry side in smarties. Easy peasy and no probs. Pro mix bales so cheap I just use new, don't try to reuse like in old days 😂

30 bucks a bale. You can't go wrong. I never PH. Straight from the faucet and into air stones.I like to let it run 24 hrs if possible. I checked the ppms the other day just to see and it was 219. Water is not bad.
You do gotta get some microbes and bacteria working to feed the roots.
It's clean with no bugs.

What do you pH it to? Feed every time? How many grams of megacrop per gallon? And how often do you need to water? I’ve been watering till run off - 1 gallon of water to a three gallons of Promix and I only need to water once a week at the most.

Ph it to piss yellow. Water every other day. 2.5-3 gms per gallon. Bout heaping half teaspoon. Add capful of epsom/molasses mix I make. Add some kelp first few weeks if flower, along with ok booster, but bout same food. I don't water to runoff, but I use one of those big pill bottles like 4-5 in her and they get 4-5 of em every other or every 2nd day. Heavy eaters I add a lil more food. I flush one week with bloom yellow bottle final and one week with water. Also, menards has those bales at 14$

My Promix - HP has been giving me a tough time after 4 to 5 weeks in flower. This just started to happen about 4 months ago. I think it's the acid collecting on the bottom of the pot and creating a very bad environment for my roots. I think I am going to switch to the HP/CC mix next or try to put rocks on the bottom of the pot so the roots wont sit in the acid.

That’s shitty. What going wrong with the plants?

I set mine on a ceramic floor tile, "flutes up" gives them a way to drain that bottom crap away.

Getting the "claw" with color loss in the middle of the leaf fingers. Death within weeks if not flushed. It's happening AFTER I start using the Bloom nutes. I don't use any Bloom nutes until 2 weeks after flip. Just the Dyna-Gro "Grow" and "Foliage Pro". I think after I add the Bloom it makes it worse.

I decided to get a good runoff each watering now. I have not been doing that and I think that may be the cause of the acid problem in the bottom of my pots. I went out and bought trays for each flower tent and can easily overwater them now to get a good runoff. Suck it up nice with a shop vac. So easy.

I used to feed them until they were heavy but I never got runoff. I hope this fixes it.
