Grow room setup / advice

Hey guys, Sm0key42o here. Im currently working on setting up an grow room 6.5 x 6.5 lets just say 6x6x9. Im going for 2 6x3 wooden frame trellis style setups on each side. Also hydro for sure any ideas or advice on an easy hydro setup for those 2 spaces? Ebb, dwc, rdwc DIY ECT Thanks!

Well....dwc will be a pain in the ass because of seperate res on each plant so when they are in full flower, youll need the room. They get big, fast! I would say RDWC or Ebb would be the best bet BUT if you run multi strain, you always have the chance of once plant feeding more or less then the others.

Also, in a 6x6, you might only get 2 or 3 plants per side. I fit 6 in my 4x8 vegged for only 4 weeks.

Actually guys if i done each side ill only have 2 foot x 6 foot 8 in of space so if i go with an ebb how many plant ct per drain tray would you recommend? Also i may have to make 2 - 2x6 drain trays haven't found one online yet. This is an shed grow

Im going with leds 4 lights per side, total of around 600w per 2x6 grow space so 8 lights total.

That would depend on the size pot you put them in....In that place, you are only going to get 4-8 hydroponic plants with 8 pushing it.

If each side is only 2x6, I would try 3 per 2x6 space. That gives each plant 2x2.

pvc pipes...as for res, I do not know about that. Depends on the size buckets you run. Lets say 5 gallon....3 plants alone will need 12 gallons at minimum and that does not include water in lines etc. You can always get a 50 gallon res and run pvc pipe from that main res to each site.

Hey i also just seen a post about your bubble cloner. Could you send me some info? You mentioned that you cut the net pots? And just added the retainer pieces is that right? Thanks.

For my Dwc buckets i decided to go with heisenbubbles 4gal square pail setup without the rdwc ECT just add air stones.

I honestly just threw a cheap one together. I have 2 now but one is an aerator while the other is dwc.


The one in the picture below is just a 5 gallon tote from the dollar store. Any bigger, I would suggest a sturdy tote so it don't break from the weight of the water. All I did was cut a few holes in the lid and dropped 2 inch net pots in them.


The is the 2nd one. I bought this as a kit but it can easily be made as well.

Awesome thanks for the info. Ill be making one of those as well. Also im going with eco plus large round air stones for the buckets and an 793 ghp pump from eco plus.

Check out how this guy set up his Dutch table. I think it’s worth a try. I’m actually gonna try running a setup like this myself just to try it out. He has a whole bunch of videos on his channel that cover everything from room setup to making your own dry sift

Hey guys been away from the forums for a min, thanks for sharing advice i think my hps bulb finally went out lol i noticed it was burning really dim and i have heat spots on the bulb and some kind of plastic matter inside the bulb check it out wdu think?
