Is it really so hard for you to have a discussion that you have to point at Trump when you have nothing to contribute? For what it's worth, he probably actually won that bowling trophy since "participation" trophies weren't a thing back then. The closest thing to a participation trophy back then was a "good sportsmanship" trophy and those were only awarded to one person on the team.
I was thinking the same thing. @JohnFonda obviously has very little life experience outside of his little bubble.

If you mean embracing politics, which violates equal rights from the beginning, I agree. There are no good politicians. None. Some are less evil than others though. Bickering over who is less douchy is a useful distraction and works well to herd the sheep.

Never said that.. I was just remembering when America was great and our own Gov't took out it's own when they got too big for their britches.
I think you are missing the point some of us are making. I personally wear a mask in public, but not because I think they make a huge difference. Those of us who are speaking out about our issues with how this pandemic is being handled aren't just ignoring the rules. We are discussing the fact the a lot of these rules have no reasoning behind them. Our doc just laid it out yesterday and i think she is right. This is a 2 to 3 year thing and it aint going NOWHERE.
Vaccines take a lot longer than 5 months to develop. Placebos are very quick though. They effect the mind almost immediately.
We are masks mandatory EVERYWHERE or you just might get the shit kicked out of you...we finally got there.

Covid cases...divided by dead equals the mortality rate.
The USA is #1 once again in the world.
The chance of catching COVID-19 in a crowded room, with no social distancing, and no mask, was 1 in over 3,300 last I checked. The chance of dying from that contraction for people age 50 and over was 1 in 19.1 MILLION the last I checked and the numbers are even lower for those under the age of 50.
