Hi All.
I'm Scott from CaledonianGrown. I'm just a small hobby grower. I do it for experimentation, learning, fun and self use. I typically grow whatever I'm in the mood for but I also test for folks. Currently I'm testing for @olygenes and @kineosgenetics.
I recently moved into a new house and built a new grow space. Since restarting my grow setup in the new climate controlled space, I've begun planting seeds monthly to allow for a continual harvest. I am finally about to harvest the first set after implementing this and now should have new varieties to harvest each month (give or take a few weeks based on needed flowering time). I'm very excited for this because my last harvest was about 4 months ago.
I like to grow diverse selections and I always try to pollinate a lower branch or two on every plant. You never know what might make for some good seed. That said, i also clone every plant I grow and keep a mother for at least a couple of generations just in case I want to keep that genetic line for continued production or breeding. All that planting and cloning means my veg room can get a little crowded but its worth the trouble....for now at least.
