I’ve got my other nutes in 12oz Bottles. Someone should invent some sort of bottle or container that works better.

I got these in clear but its the same thing i use

Interesting. Certainly a good idea.

If I know anything. I know nothing.
I mixed a solution up with water on a heat plate. It never dissolved fully. I notice that in my res I got a lot bio film scum that would build up quickly. I used it few runs in coco. I think maybe it would be better for soil?

Couple pics of the separation. This has been sitting good couple of months. In scared to open it lol.

I did this with a half bag of the 22.5 lb bag in a 5 gal container with spigot. I have to shake it everytime i use it because it settles on the bottom. You can shake on that thing for hrs nd it wont mix all the way.

Did the same thing with the calmag. Mixed it in a 5 gal container with spigot and it settles to the bottom ive shaken that thing so many times i cant count. Never mixes throughly. Its not like their is too much in the container. Reg cal mag is around 5 ml per gal. To get same concentrate with this mix is 20 ml per gal.
Never heard anything good about there cal-mag product. I have always used Cali- magic. My last grow i was using a reservoir and a circulating pump. I would see some of it in the bottom of the reservoir. Not sure if i am going back to a reservoir but if i do i might look into something else. Jacks or Flora -flex maybe. I think Mega crop has lost a lot of customers over switching formulas 3 times that i know of.

Mine separates like that in a day. I just shake before use.

If you are "high performance" growing,
Multiple ratios of Miracle Grow works as good as Mega Crop. lol
Seriously, it does.
I have Jacks 321, Miracle Grow, and Mega Crop. (dry nutes)
I have Advanced Nutes PH Perfect. They are all about the same.
My personal choice is 100% organics.
But had some trouble last year and lost 7 years of soil structure build up.
Started over with new Pro Mix etc. Takes a while to build the soil. So I've been using these brands of salts. I think there are 3 kinds we all use. Nitrates, Phosphates, and Sulfates. As long as you don't directly mix 2 together in large quantities. (won't allow all to dissolve)? If my memory serves me correctly today.
I think I dreamed it, someone was wearing a "Heathen" shirt, is already considered a "collectors" item or some shit? lmao!

It does mix up when you shake it. Wonder if the black liquid is kelp? Molasses? Idk lol just guessing. It did work well just wanted to be able to adjust the ratios more so I changed brands. Something else I notice it seemed the Plants would stretch more with MC but I can't pin it down totally on MC though cause I was using different things with it. Anybody else notice this?

Yeah I'm thinking about switching to Jack's or something after I finish up this bag. I like the stuff, and it's at a great price, but I'm sick of the formula changing every time I re-up on it. And now that I have more experience, I kind of want to be able to tweak the ratios if desired.

I looked at Jacks web page the other day they have quite a few lines out know. There is another one worth investigating is the Flora Flex line.

Ive been mixing Mega C. with my yeast stir plate and I get very little settling. Using their cal mag and bud explosion as well. Running about 700ppm right now and things are looking great.
I usually use the hot water out of my UV but it works just as well with cold.
Is ther better out the most likely. It's what I'm using now. And it works.

I took some pics of my 5 gal containers
The mega and their calmag and some masterblend.

First is the cal mag. My finger is at the water level while you see the un mixed nutrients floating in the bottom. You have to shake it while pouring and its difficult to get it come out. 20200106_161954.jpg20200106_162030.jpg

Next is the masterblend. Mixes well, never a problem.

Ive mixed my own for a while and decided to try theirs since it was there to try. Ive had it since october. Its almost gone and when its used up thats it on that. Same for the mega.

Even with the mixing problems id still use it for just veg. But the amount of molasses they put in is rediculous. Thats where a lot of your ppm is coming from.

Id only where one while riding goats. Lol

But yes about any formula will work as long as its reasonable and the correct nitrates used for the growing media. Ex cant use urea based nitrogen in hydro. Mixing in wrong sequence can cause it to create gypsum and fall out of solution and not be uptaked by the roots.
Thats why you see mix part A and then part B etc

Anyone use supernatural? I ditched megacrop and their bloom booster, then my supernatural came in the mail today. I didn't know it when I ordered but apparently it's buffered so the ph is supposed to be stable... I hope so cuz my megacrop sure hasn't been stable lately, neither has general hydroponics...

Believe @socaljoe is a masterblend guy. I was looking at it the other day. Kinda looks similar to jacks in a lot of ways.
