So, I've been working through this idea of mine on the past few indoor grows. I've had good results, but would like to hear opinions.
I grow in organic no till soil. My compost is top notch, all food scraps, garden debris, and horse manure.
So, what I have been doing is adding playground sand to my soil and I use silica from RAW with my waterings. I don't foliar spray. Never been a fan and think you up the potential for problems.
What I have noticed is much thicker stems, hardier, tougher plants, and no pest problems. I don't know if the longer veg is giving me the thicker/tougher branches or if the silica is doing what it's reported to be doing?
Anyone? Input please?
